Minimalism is not simply owning less, its living simply so you can appreciate the finer things in life. If for her it's appreciation of art then that works too.
Actually minimalism does mean to break down to the thing you actually need to live!! So collecting art doesnt mean minimalism. You cant call yourself a minimalist or say you live minimalistic while you your house is fill up to top with stuff you even dont need to live. And thats the art of minimalism: To stop the consuming and wasting habits!
This is how i would love to live if i had money. She’s not being a show-off, she’s doing her thing, enjoying buying things and art that are meaningful to her because she can, creating her own tiny paradise:) made me happy. I hope to be able to have a nice place of my own full of meaningful things too one day.

This is by far the most interesting house and person featured. ‘No clutter’ as long as these many little items means something to her. I would have super great respect for her if she would house rescued horses instead of buying . So many wonderful things we could do for those unwanted homeless or abused animals ( example racehorses 🏇, stray dogs , cats , etc ) with these space and financial resources.
This really gave me a new view on minimalism, seeing it in a form that shows intense appreciation for objects and physicality- cause it's so common to see minimalism as something like a simplification machine.
More than Minimalist, I just found her to be organized. She has a lot of stuff, maybe she likes the aesthetics of minimalism. Having said that, she has a distinct taste and style.

minimalism isnt about the quantity / having the fewest things, it's about JUST having the essentials & ONLY the things that make you happy. a person could have a 200-item lamp collection that they love and it would still be minimalist :)

She likes things that's weird and interesting and NOT tasteful, which is important to her. That makes so much more sense now. She is not looking to fill up her house with eyeball pleasing things, but interesting ones. I don't think we should judge her art taste or her aesthetics here since she made it clear she is not trying to do that. A common misconception of “Minimalism” design is that it’s less furniture. But minimalist design is not focusing on the quantity of the furniture, it’s focusing on the quality your details in the furniture. You can have have a normal amount of furniture and still achieve a minimal design, but that furniture has to have smooth, thin, and with minimal details that are not too attention grasping.

Compared to _other_ British interior styles, she's more simple in display. Whereas most Brit's are heavy on the layering & eclectic displays. Most want you to walk in & feel cozy & warm. Especially, on those cold rainy winter's nights. She's gone for more of a cool beachy feel, that one would most likely see in a California beach house. It is really odd for an English cottage in the country.

According to the Oxford English Dictionary, to be a minimalist is to have a *minimum* of stuff. She's definitely not a maximalist, though. She likes order and clean lines, so perhaps *she thinks* that means she's a minimalist? I did enjoy her tour. She seems quite quirky.
The location of her house is the best thing for me.. all the beautiful nature. Although, the architecture and the decor are definitely my style, I think the house has some potential for a more modern country minimalist style, personally speaking.

I don't like her, neither her house. Of course she shell be who she is and shell live how she does, but for me all of what she has shown is ugly. I also can't find something lovely in her character. Moreover to say, that you never can have enough horses looks not funny to me. Horses are Animals who need time, love and care of their owner. She seems to have housekeepers who care for them. Because just to care for one horse is really a part time job. To have 6 horses, just because you can seems to me egoistic.

She's definitely not a maximalist, though. She likes order and clean lines, so perhaps *she thinks* that means she's a minimalist? I did enjoy her tour. She seems quite quirky.

The location of her house is the best thing for me.. all the beautiful nature. Although, the architecture and the decor are definitely my style, I think the house has some potential for a more modern country minimalist style, personally speaking.
Her style is diffenitly NOT my style BUT I absolutely love everything about her style! It is so her and I don't even know who she is. She just makes a statement in her personality. Don't know her but I now love her. Excuse me now I'm going down the internet research rabbit hole to find out more 😊

I don't like her, neither her house. Of course she shell be who she is and shell live how she does, but for me all of what she has shown is ugly. I also can't find something lovely in her character. Moreover to say, that you never can have enough horses looks not funny to me. Horses are Animals who need time, love and care of their owner. She seems to have housekeepers who care for them. Because just to care for one horse is really a part time job. To have 6 horses, just because you can seems to me egoistic.
