I believe many of us who study psychology and mental illnesses have been saying the exact same thing since before the election, and I don't mean that as an insult or attack. All you have to do is listen to Trump talk unscripted for a few minutes, and you can tell there's just something not right. However, I don't think he's just a narcissist, I think it's very possible he's a sociopath as well. He's very charismatic and cunning in that he knows what to say/do to motivate his followers, and people may mistake this for leadership qualities, but he lacks many of the basic things that makes a "decent" human being. I believe many of us who study psychology and mental illnesses have been saying the exact same thing since before the election, and I don't mean that as an insult or attack. All you have to do is listen to Trump talk unscripted for a few minutes, and you can tell there's just something not right. However, I don't think he's just a narcissist, I think it's very possible he's a sociopath as well. He's very charismatic and cunning in that he knows what to say/do to motivate his followers, and people may mistake this for leadership qualities, but he lacks many of the basic things that makes a "decent" human being. I honestly question whether he's capable of caring about anyone beyond himself and perhaps his immediate family.

As I recall it, he tried to silence the people around him, became increasingly paranoid and erratic, fired the special counsel investigating him, and then bailed out only when it was absolutely certain he was going to be impeached. That's not even a"resignation," that's "you can't fire me, I quit."

Electoral college and gerrymandering are the two biggest problems with, specifically, the process of choosing representation in America. They're only topped by legal bribery through lobbyists. So what our democracy looks like today is a system in which the ONLY part of the government that citizens have any say or influence over, is constantly being manipulated in order to give us as little say or influence as possible. When we feel like we've been cheated, people hold protests that are restrained by militarized law enforcement in order to ensure the the protest has as little influence as possible. And of course the electors will never ever dissent like they're supposed to.
As a result the votes of over 3 million people were meaningless during the election. And somehow after seeing all this people ask, "Why are Americans so cynical and disengaged from politics with one of the lowest voter turnout rates of any democracy in the world?" What a mystery.
We need to abolish the broken electoral college by electing people with the broken electoral college! Just like the founding fathers intended. -_-
