I'm curious if it will work with the chinese trolling motor brands? I have one of the Haswing Protruars and I don't see why it wouldn't. But not a risk I want to take in ordering.

If the trolling motor brands have the steering tensioner bracket in the same place then yes. Otherwise you'd need to modify the motor mount.
