Level 0 armoring, Apprentice notes unlock. (Grey scraps, "Armor Scraps")
50, Novice (Green scraps, "Useful")

150, Master (Purple scraps, "Infused Scraps")

What tradeskill do you most want to see next?
I’ve used the first craft bonus for every item. Mainly bought a ton of mats so its worth the extra XP. Made money with selling crafting mods (coz i bought tons as they was very cheap) or just did some price flipping on market. And can be very helpful to craft fur armor with infused Fur, often there is no buy orders out there and it cost half or less the price of infused leather lol. And when u salvage these you get infused leather back :P
Here is the honest brokey trick to armoring 200..
If you are level 60 with gs 600 or more. Run expeditions non stop. Ideally grab ward gear and go for mutations. Higher mutations = better gear resulting in extra coin in your pocket.
The reason you run dungeons is to salvage the armor drops. Purple rarity of V will have a chance of dropping armor scrap. Perfect salvage on chest piece will grant you 3 scraps. I'm not sure the math but I think it's 20k exp per scrap?
Easily the best and it completely free. I have leveled up to 200 just by doing this. I've tried the same with weaponsmithi g but the salvage drops are more rare for some reason. Alternatively, crafting the dungeon gear/weapons are cheaper than orichalcum gear etc. Feel free to try this on downtime when you arent grinding dungeons.

Well, news just came out that Focus might not be all it was promised. Literally in the last day it came out that it apparently only affects REPAIR PARTS. So, even though that scene was fun, I wouldn't worry about the focus 'till they fix it!

The 100 focus has been data-mined recently found it doesn’t affect anything but repair parts. No extra mats from salvaging until they fix it it isn’t worth the points
Testing and data mines have shown the 100 focus only increases the repair parts that you receive from salvaging not return on material
Hey dude, i have a lot of infused armor scraps but i don't see the "MASTER ARMOR RESEARCH notes" and "apprentice armor research notes" do you know the reason? thanks you
Your armoring level limits what research you can do. As you level up armoring the higher tiers of research unlock.
They unlock at the same tier of the material. So Infused should unlock at 150.

focus doesn't give more salvage just more repair parts.

Honestly, they had me bamboozled for a while on that one.
I became level 160 very fast crafting dugeon pieces....
That will certainly be fun to do, especially if you like running dungeons. There are a ton of ways to get to the 150 zone!

Silk gloves give like no exp how am I meant to get to 150?
It's all about the Synergy between cost experience and Recovery

Just craft a crapton basically. and then break them all down, and repeat.
Over harvest your secondary mats like iron and it works out.
Armoring levels pretty fast compared to the rest!
also! I should note that 100 to 150 is always the hardest grind for every craft
@@shiurx Oh ok I was crafting crafted 50 of those silk gloves and got 3 levels thats all I ended up just first time crafting each silk armor once to get like 10k per one and then crafted more gloves and reached 150 thanks for ur help
So the trick not to get broke is getting rich first? If you farm mats worth 70k you still miss out on this gold. You dont save Gold by farming, exept the auction house taxes. Makes more sense to farm gold and buy the stuff.

It's good criticism.
I think the best way I can answer this is to say, my style of play is to play the game. And I try to make guides that accommodate that. Generally, I have better luck, and a better time, farming for the mats directly than I do indirectly farming a boss for a RNG drop I can sell, then convert into mats.
I like the direct action of that.
