Woohoo! Finally hit 200 thanks to this video! Got to about 150 and stopped following the last video cuz I got bored making 200 drums or whatever. All I did was go through and make as many things as I could for the 1st time craft bonus, like you said, and hit 200 surprisingly easy! Love it! Thanks! Keep up the amazing work :)
I got my skills grandmaster around 2 months and 3 weeks into the game with furnishing as my last hurdle. Holy shit was it mind numbing. It took me the entire 3 weeks left just to get to 200 coz we didn't know about round seafoam rugs back then nor the powder horn way. All we did was mahogany stains and boy was that painful since I had constantly setup buy orders for tier 3 solvents since reagents back then were in 3 tiers and you need thousands upon thousands of them and then mind numbingly roam around weavers for another thousands upon thousands of oil. It was an insane grind and arguably the hardest one at the time. Am I glad it's easier now? Hell yes. I don't want anyone to ever go through what I did coz honestly not everyone could.
I simply looked at the Workshop station and gained 100 levels instantly😆 Seriously though, thank you for the updated guides. I'm working on some alts now and your tips are useful even with it being incredibly easy now.
Now i need this Video. The Ultimate Combat Trophy needs 200 Furnishing Skill. Thank you for the Video! Edit: its also nice when you use the territority bonus with 30% from music its a nice side effect :)
Note about the power horn. You always get a horn back when salvaged. So you only need like 10, to do easy batch crafts. On that note I did grind to 147 in the craft the first month of release. I stopped playing and only came back recently it's sooo much easier

Why not just craft ‘Mothers Love’ from 0-100 and then just do Powder Horn to 100-200 whilst leveling engineering by crafting Gunpowder by also leveling logging and smelting when crafting charcoal with green/aged wood and then selling Softwood Treesaps for gold in the process. Realistically only trade purchases made will be Flint, Saltpeter and Beeswax as you can salvage Powder Horn for the Animal Horns and cycle through rinse and repeat.
Question: So, after getting to level 200 for Furnishing, do you think it makes sense to continue with Furnishing for BOTH Aptitude crate contents and Territory Standing gains? I know you have separate videos covering Aptitude crate grinding with Furnishing and getting Territory Standing gains with Furnishing (in addition to other crafting professions). I'm trying to kill two birds with one stone using Furnishing to get crates for trophy mats while at the same time gain territory standing using Furnishing as well. I am approaching it from a mats farming perspective NOT a Trading Post mats purchasing perspective.
Hey Mr. 5head, thanks for another video! I wanna ask of you: will you keep playing New World, preparing for the expansion? I don't know if I keep playing and farming to be able to do stuff when it comes or if I stop, in case the game goes to hell and I lose all the farm x.x
I dont understand the 10 of everything part. what do I need to craft 10 of every time and when? sorry you went over that part a bit quickly and I could not understand :(
ya you didn't understand, craft 1 of each musical instrument..then chose one, the drum is your best option, the ncraft 10 of it.. the reason is simple, crafting 10 musical instruments at 150-200 is your cheapest and fastest option, but musical instruments require you to have made an equal amount of the previous tier.. so at each tier you need to make 10 drums, in order to make 10 virtuaso ones :)

Leveling furniture making and engineering drove me to rage quit the game and hate it and hate the devs. Bots and sweats trying to monopolize the ironwood.. The moron devs making ironwood trees spawn at an extremely long time. I did not do the powder horn thing, but now I wish I did, because I have sold probably 5,000+ gunpowder through trade post. A few times, I bought every schematic that I did not know and cost less than 150 coin from trade post. I also bought some that were over 150 coin, but not many. Players seem to think they can sell some of the schematics for thousands of coin. I and other players don't have to buy it, just because it is the lowest price of that type of thing. BTW, I told myself that if I ever find the Golden Steel Storage schematic, then I would sell it for 250,000 coin, because I have seen players willing to pay that. Similarly, I found the Canarios sheet music and sold it for 8,000 coin. That those prices... those players want it more than I.
everyone probably buys those, just like the rug schematic. Buy orders are wonderful, so it might be possible to put in a buy order, then someone will sell it to you.

same, if you look back at my original video's they where all in 2021, finished mid nov, it was horrible compared to now
You couldn't do the horns anyway at the start of the game because bee hives didn't drop wax.
This was the way.

this is true, but for a single set of 59 and the low cost i just burned out 59 then sold the salvaged horns back for what i paid

Where you guys getting your beeswax?

It’s more boring and you won’t have so much furniture for our home. The mental reward effect is lower.

from 90 to 200 cost me like 29k gold
idk if the prices on my server is crazy or what
29k is a bit high, but still very cheap, furniture not long ago would easily run you 500k+
