Loved the video! Thanks for breaking down everything and I feel your pain in farming wyrdwood. They really need more trees or maybe up the amount the wyrdwood wolves drop.
Don't have videos but hit the farm pretty hard and track via spreadsheets. Here is my summary: - Logging used to get closer to 10k; just green/aged wood + craft mods. Convert to charcoal or lumber based on market. However prices are way down the last few months so is what you see from BDLG here. - Skinning is my current farm; getting 5k per hour reliably and there are so many spots you can do it. Honestly the best part is everything comes right to you and piles up at your feet to harvest :P - Acid pool runs; usually about 5k an hour (considering you do about a 20m run once per day; so over 3 days you get the pay back). This includes getting as much sulfur as you can. Ice Gauntlet and pylon are the magic trick; let the acid pool mobs attack the pylon and grab the goods. - Mining.... tried just plane stone and got to about 3k an hour. Very inconsistent though and mining bigger boulders is buggy. - Harvesting in Ebonscale (same area BDLG mentioned for logging). Just harvest the herbs for hyssop and herbs; then hit the wirefiber that is in the area. About 3-4k an hour. May be better spots but this is my favorite area of the game so what I stuck with. - Harvesting fiber > silk > wirefiber. Refine it to infused silk. Then craft sea foam rugs (req 200 crafting) to unlock furniture apptitude chests. These chests are unique in that they give you some of all of the Tier 5 materials so you are turning weaving materials into wood, metal, etc. You can also get rare recipes like the gold chest that is worth 200,000 gold just for the recipe. I've not tried this but a few videos out there on this method have me intrigued. And fibers/silk/wirefiber are not really camped much so is a reliable farm.
The Green event patterns require Armorsmithing 150, but allow choosing the attribute and setting one perk. They can be used to create farming luck sets with the appropriate attribute, so a set with Con Logging luck, Int Harvesting Luck, Dex Skinning, etc. Each piece will give 22 attribute and 4-5% luck, so a full set will give 110 attribute and 20-25% luck. And as cheap as the mats and patterns are, you can roll several for each slot to try for useful extra perks. Much better stats and luck while also cheaper than buying or farming for the named farming luck sets.

I have moved over to skinning; seems to be a more reliable 5k an hour in a good spot. Actually impressive AGS somehow has most of these farm methods operating at about the same gold per hour earning. Every farm I've tried now is about 5k an hour and as you noted you can eek out a bit extra holding to sell on weekends.
It’s not AGS, it’s the players that determine the prices. As time goes on prices should settle at a certain gold per hour. But there are also other factors like barriers to entry (if you need a certain level or special tool/acid gear) and scarcity (We can’t all farm iron ore as if they were trees.)
Not too long ago I was consistently making 7-8k per hour farming green wood and aged wood and selling it as charcoal and then selling the soul motes too. Charcoal prices have tanked now though. Now making money is more luck based, which I'm not as big a fan of.
my server is so bad for pricing. everything sells for nothing. Like the sap you said was 3k on orion its 300... Cant hardly make the coin to buy cromatic seals.
Pushing to 625 does increase the luck, but it's super minimal. It's not worth it unless you have a ton of extra shards. I did it just to mess around. I'm at a point in my progression with New World that I have a ton of shards lying around.
Is playing this game worth your time? That's the better question. I'd say that's a hard no. Dudes like this depend on this game for their YT channel so he will say anything.
Say anything? Lol you must be new here. I’m a pretty big critic of the flaws of the game. There are some excellent features in the game but it’s far from being a competing mmo with the larger mmos on the market. Hopefully we’ll see some major adjustments to some of the flawed mechanics in the future.

You really dont need a 625 logging set the difference between 600 and 625 is 0.2% luck so 1% total for 5 pieces.
Gold farming is boring in every game. I hope they will focus more on PVP/PVE for BIS gear intead of forcing players to farm gold for it

No mounts no mmo. NW it's most boring mmo ever created. It's completely out of the way sadness and boredom it's that bad.
