Someone over at Game Freak apparently cares about Butterfree, since it gets a buff every generation, which is more than a lot of Pokémon can say xD Still, I really wish it had a Mega

Oh cool you've seen that too! I liked it too even though some may say it's copy of the og episode but the next series xy they kinda did the same thing with Vivillion early on.
Now it's worth noting that one of the major reasons Butterfree is weak is because of Sleep Clause, a rule in most competitive formats that limits you to only being able to sleep a single one of your opponent's pokemon. If Sleep Clause didn't exist, Butterfree would be much better, it could boost its speed with quiver dance and force any pokemon that wanted to try to stop it to spend time recovering from sleep.
Lmao I actually once swept my friend's team of legendaries including Xerneas, Mewtwo, and Zygarde with Quiver Dance Butterfree. It was absolutely hilarious. PS: My Butterfree also had Gust as one of its moves because I forgot about it 😂.
I've used butter free in top 100 online in sword and shield, choice scarf catches people off guard and sleep wastes their dynamax, while providing rage powder support for trick room
In gen 8 butterfree is probably best in nat dex ag over any other tier. It has compound eyes sleep powder which is almost as good as spore but on a much faster pokemon than any other spore user. It can set up multiple quiver dances with sash then baton pass its boosts to primal kyogre or calyrex or what ever other monster special sweeper of your choice. It works best in AG due to no sleep clause allowing you potentially sleep multiple pokemon if the opponent is dumb
I'm honestly a bit surprised that FSG forgot that butterfree won the smash bros invitational but it also wasn't an official event so it's understandable
i love how he just kept going with with "surprisingly it was good in uber's also I'm a scammer" joke, like i would say he let it drag but its BKC so its always funny. also I feel like if you guys were being fair you would have specified that the reason butterfree was so bad in the earlier gens was due to the physical special split not happening yet meaning both of its stabs were physical, instead of just saying "hahaha fckin trash mon amirite so bad but somehow MIRACLOUSLY got better later"

8:24 what a godly alliteration
you're selling the whole bridge? 500's a steal
I've been waiting for butterfree ever since I found this channel, I don't know who to wait for now...
When you think you're first but the patrons been commenting....
The mental image of a Butterfree wearing Heavy-duty Boots is hilarious.
False Swipe Gaming: *uploads How GOOD was Butterfree ACTUALLY*
Me: *remembers Bye Bye Butterfree and a actually good Black and White anime episode related to the OG anime episode*
Oh cool you've seen that too! I liked it too even though some may say it's copy of the og episode but the next series xy they kinda did the same thing with Vivillion early on.
@@PkmnTrainerEmerald Also Jessie's Duxtox in Diamond and Pearl
Now it's worth noting that one of the major reasons Butterfree is weak is because of Sleep Clause, a rule in most competitive formats that limits you to only being able to sleep a single one of your opponent's pokemon. If Sleep Clause didn't exist, Butterfree would be much better, it could boost its speed with quiver dance and force any pokemon that wanted to try to stop it to spend time recovering from sleep.
This whole video: Makes Butterfree jokes about how it was a terrifying monster.
Me, one gullible boi: Why must you wound me so?
Wow I learned Butterfree had a solid Ubers career, and got a neato Nugget Bridge! What a good day!
Butterfree: Cute boi
Beedrill: Cool boi
Thank you for answering my prayers, False Swipe God
Lmao I actually once swept my friend's team of legendaries including Xerneas, Mewtwo, and Zygarde with Quiver Dance Butterfree. It was absolutely hilarious.
PS: My Butterfree also had Gust as one of its moves because I forgot about it 😂.
I was completely unaware of Butterfree's niche! That's amazing. That's why I love this channel!
Ahhh yes, the only butterfly ever that managed to make me teary eyed as a kid.
Dustox...
Too bad for the butterflies - I've heard lepidopterans enjoy sipping on tears.
A friend of mine used a Butterfree in his main team and he loved to kick my ass with it. I had to use a Tyranitar in my team specifically to kill it.
I wish it received a Mega like Beedrill or some boost like changing it from Bug/Flying to Bug/Fairy.
I've used butter free in top 100 online in sword and shield, choice scarf catches people off guard and sleep wastes their dynamax, while providing rage powder support for trick room
As a kid, I took my butterfree to the elite four because Ash couldn't.
That Nugget Bridge still on offer?
I'm honestly a bit surprised that FSG forgot that butterfree won the smash bros invitational but it also wasn't an official event so it's understandable
I gotta get a, How GOOD was Banette ACTUALLY! It's my favorite Pokemon!
It's a fun mon, especially with the mega. Prankster boosted taunt and destiny bond really screw over both hazard setters and sweepers
FSG needs to do Durant! It's my favorite pokemon😥
My beautiful butterfly.
It may be weak. But it saved me in a heart gold nuzlocke many times.
i love how he just kept going with with "surprisingly it was good in uber's also I'm a scammer" joke, like i would say he let it drag but its BKC so its always funny.
also I feel like if you guys were being fair you would have specified that the reason butterfree was so bad in the earlier gens was due to the physical special split not happening yet meaning both of its stabs were physical, instead of just saying "hahaha fckin trash mon amirite so bad but somehow MIRACLOUSLY got better later"
These are all the Kanto Pokemon left (only 7 left):
-Arbok
-Mr. Mime
-Farfetch’d
-Primeape
-Seaking
-Electrode
-Lickitung
It has everything but the stats, great ability and great moveset.
Amazing Nugget Bridge marketing here
