Wauw! Thank you so much for this video! I have an Yamaha Bolt but don't know anything about mechanics. You have given me the courage to change the exhaust myself instead of going to an expensive mechanic. Thanks!
I followed the instructions on the video, installing was easy, you will need a friend when you will be putting the exhaust on your motorcycle. They are loud enough, and sound good. They also look very good too
did mine today. sounds good. got mine for $594 and not $699 like 99% of online places. worst part? rear muffler plate bracket, those things were so impacted on, took me 40 min on 1 bolt because they tightened it way to tight. also the front left side nut of exhaust pipe, you truely need open end wrench for that one, not socket.
Wow 8 years ago but I went through that struggle too. That bracket was a pain in the ass. My impact wasn’t strong enough and I tried to use my ratchet and a hammer, which usually works and nothing at all. Had to find a long hollow pipe and use a cheater pipe. Like butter
Nice pipes but if your looking for sound ...take a 1 1/4 inch extended drill and go right into the back of the stock pipe . About 12 inches in youll see the baffle . Drill a hole in it and then youll have your harley .
Thank you for the great video instructional. Does Vance and Hines release information/data on the hp this exhaust adds and how much weight is saved compared to the stock exhaust. Most importantly (to me at least) is the powerband information. I tried looking on the company's webpage, however was unsuccessful in finding what I am looking for. If not, no worries, I am making my decision on purchasing a full exhaust system on sound (I love this exhaust's sound), and looks, however I do want some data on powerband/fuel efficiency improvements. Thank you either way!
Preferably, yes. I suggest getting your ecu flashed by ivan. Search for "ivan's yamaha bolt flash" in Google. It will feel like a completely different bike.
Just for weight reduction....it's sister bike, the SCR950 weighs 250kg,i reckon you could shed 40kg easily. On here,it's take off heavy steel bracket...and replace it with...a heavy steel bracket!
I‘m soo happy you made a true dual system.
All these V-twins and parallel twins need that for awesome sound, imo.
Nice install video, but you guys left out the most important part, starting the bike and letting us hear the pipes!!!!
Fucking Idiots didn't start it up......Pinheads...GEEZ !!!!
@@elithegreat6463 and here I am 7 years after this video was uploaded and I'm not buying them because I don't know how they sound.

please note: next time add sound sample. -_-
....and the sound...?
please note, this is a great instructional video on a great system.
Thanks for the install video, I'll just imagine how it sounds

I thought maybe mine had something wrong with it
Aaaannnnddd the fuckers didn't turn the bike on 😒
They sound awesome. Had em on mine since may. Well worth the extra money.

Will this be a direct fit with my SCR950

Hey Guys if you replace your exhaust, do you really need a fuel system?
What size bolts are the ones for the top exhaust mount. Mine are misisng
starting the bike and letting us hear the pipes
This exhaust can be used without ECU flash or tuning? I only want more sound, not more performance.
Y'all should make some Shortshots for the Bolt
I'm sorry, but there wasn't enough interest to warrant development
Muito bonito a tranquilidade e o carinho do profissional.😁😁😁👍
Que paso con el sonido vi todo el pt .. video para escuchar como sonaba
Does it fit Yamaha Bolt Cspec?
Why not make Shortshots for the Bolt?
There sadly was not enough of a business case to warrant development
What if the little heat shield is missing? :(
Any plans to create this slash exhaust for the Kawasaki Vulcan S ??
Does it fit on any bolt any year ??

I may not be the smartest guy, but are you not applying any loctite to the bolts?
After chamging the pipes does it need tuning or not at all?

It will feel like a completely different bike.
Is it discontinued?
Anyone knows how long does the full installation process take?
What size are all the bolts? Metric or standard?
what if you dont have heat shileds?
Sound? Would it look like crap if one of the pipes ran to the other side?
Will this fit the scr950?
Its looks hot and all but WHY IS IT 700 ;-;
Wheres soundcheck?
This exhaust is still too big looking. I would go with the Bassani Sweepers

alguien me puede decir como consigo ese escape en mexico grasias
Please note
2016 yamaha bolt 950
Please note...
Wow, not even a sound test?
coool
This mfr a pain in my arse!
Mr Leno Kevin on the way you are the way you have any questions about the way you are the new York city
No sound demo is kind of wack, install was clean and pipes look great but no sound clip is a waste of time. SMH🙃😮💨🙄😒
For everyone saying, what does it sound like? ...
