Looks like the AWD is doing its thing but the tires aren't gripping. I'd say it is a failure of the tire, not the AWD. Perhaps roll back down the hill and go slow and steady instead of stopping and spinning the tires every few feet.

This car has SH-AWD... This is basically a rebranded RL... Acuras were not sold in Russia back in those days but Acuras were sold as Hondas there.. RL = Legend MDX = Honda MDX, Etc.
Actually the SH-AWD system diverts 70% of torque to the rear wheels and can select 100% of that 70% to individual rear wheels depending on which has the traction.

Actually in Many Tests the SH-AWD have outperformed the Quattro and X.Drive... TODAY my Friend not 25 Years ago.. SH-AWD is the KING of the AWD Scene.

Exactly, driver do bad work with power pedal. May ho up with low and stable RPM.
