I would do this 4-5x/day for optimal results

Have you ever come across anyone who chin tucks cause the front of the neck to become numb and lose the ability to swallow? I've had so many PTs recommend these, it results in all these problems and PTs send me to neurologists, ENTs and other doctors as a result of the numbness and swallowing issues when I do the chin tucks. I'm caught in this loop of being sent to PTs who give me this exercise, then I get so much worse because of the numbness and swallowing issues that I get sent back to doctors who can't figure out what's wrong so they send me back to physical therapy and the process repeats.

I am a very in shape person and when my therapist had me through 50 chin tucks I couldn't move my neck the next day or swallow I call it just week muscles that you never stretched or worked out plus me after 41 years of working these muscles they are weak and need to be stretched

sounds like you could have trigger points in the muscles of the throat and front of your neck. might need to get a massage on that area before attempting more chin tucks.
