There are as many factors to consider as there are parts in a watch movement. However, a handful of specific criteria come into play in separating the few from the many, including heritage, storytelling, and, ultimately, the product itself. I just like what a brand puts out, which appeals to me. This includes quality, design, history and noble intentions, or producing a product which isn’t gimmicky, vulgar and fashionable.

Honesty, to me, makes a watch brand great. A brand with an original design language, transparency about the movements, and fair pricing. NOMOS sums this up nicely!
