At around 3.7 I had to deal with itps, 4.3 I had to deal with xp 50s, in 6.0 I had to deal with ju 288s, now that I'm 7.3 on my first jet I have to deal with a severely undertiered, me 262 on cocaine.
Except the Ju-288s are easy pray. You can't outrun most fighters you meet, they're more agile and the armament is better. You got a single MG151/20 and the rest are the shitty MG151. It rips at quite a slow speed. But you know, it's not ameritard and so all the fucking burgerboos kept crying about not being able to get close while having 12 HVARs, 2 1000LB bombs and a 2000LB bomb. Therefore it was raised in BR for no good reason.

@@liviuganea4108 well seeing as though ive grinded two german jets without the use of the 288, it seems more you want to use the 288 instead of working for it. The 288s only made my grind worse. Forced is a very strong word that doesn't work in this example
This plane is a me262 on steroids at a lower br than most 262s. I’m happy I bought this jet Btw, you can just cruise at 98% throttle and you won’t overheat.
I feel like this is an equally important factor that doesn't get talked about enough. When you're flying a brand new, completely stock jet, especially something that's difficult to fly and compete even when spaded, flying against undertiered premiums is one of the most infuriating things you can experience in War Thunder. This really needs to stop. No one should be flying a 6.0 stock prop against a 7.0 jet premium. No one should be flying a 9.3 jet against 10.3 premiums with every advantage they don't have access to yet or at all.
i know that feeling i wanted to try out the P-51H 6.3 BR and i was stock i got brutally murdered by the su-11s after some intense rage moments i got it spaded and was returning the favor to the su-11s and its now my favorite P-51
@@null643 They'll never eliminate modifications grind completely, but the absolute necessity is parts, FPE, and ammunition for tanks, and ammunition and ordnance for aircraft. Those should be freely available as soon as you unlock any vehicle. Game mechanics should not require a grind to gain access to.

I used to play a lot of 7.0 jets since I like them over all, but this thing made me just quit, the Mig-9l is at 7.3 even though it's MUCH worse than the 11 and the Mig-9l is already very strong

No, the airframe is diffrent. The Su-9 has the engines below the wings, indentical to the Me 262. The Su-11 has the engines in line with the wings. I believe that results in the better turn rate.
I can win against ITP's or Xp50's at their battle ratings, but this thing... Especially if you have an underpowered jet like mig-9 or 262 you just get frustrated trying to survive
I agree that they can’t go head-to-head on even ground, but I’ve found that in the 262 you can do a lot to them in furballs where they can’t dictate the terms (which is what I think you should use the 262 for anyway). I should specific though that this ease might have something to do with the lack of skill on the part of those flying it though
@@ayugoslav5554 f-89's are no problem in the 262. You can basically outturn them or force an overshoot but the f-84, the russian dildo rocket aka. La-200 and this thing (the su-11) you can't do anything against them.
I was the Ouragan at the end and i can confirm, fighting the su-11 its not fun. It outpeforms almost everything and the fact that it's premium just puts more salt on the wound. In fact, my mate (the other ouragan) was quite pissed at you when he died lol. But good fight at the end, i think if it wasn't for the other 2 guys i could have lasted a little bit more agaisnt you. At least that's what i like to think lol. Keep up the good work man.
I figured out last night that 3-4 AM PST is full of nothing but teams of these. Chinese and Russian players playing on NA servers and just cursing at you in their languages. Also, what is that climb? The constantly called overpowered F-89 with afterburners at 7.7 can't climb like that and lose that little speed, nor can it even go that fast in a straight line without ripping its wings off. At low altitude at least. This thing is fucking BROKEN.

3:53 the F-84B isn't particularly heavy, just it came in with a high aspect shot and you continued to press that advantage, so it only had a brief window to fire at you, which you countered by presenting a low profile.
I was genuinely enjoying playing the attacker and then I just got matched against these things for like 10 matches in a row, the su11 performs on par with the f2h and somehow they are an entire br apart
It's one of those premium vehicles that they purposely under tier so they can rack up as many sales as possible and then up tier after sales die down and enough people complain. They have done this many times and its just ridiculous, and it also makes me think gaijin will never Decompress the game as much as they need to because otherwise, they won't be able to add more under tiered broken premium vehicles as easily as they are now.

Sweet I have been hoping you would make this video. I was in the first match of this video in a mig9. I got 2nd place at the end. I climbed with you at the end to go after the b29 once you ran out of ammo not shown in video. It was really cool to be in game with someone who has helped me become a better player.
I think you can still get an air spawn on the first map which is helpful as you don't have to build speed. All I think you have to do is wait for the spawn countdown to end then you can select an air spawn
Even the Su-9 tech tree worse version has the same BR and most other jets are 7.3 like the meteor, f80, f84b. Being also premium it dominates the early jet bracket and can be seen in large numbers so it isn’t balanced by being rare like some other premiums. It needs moving to 7.7 but it has been 7.0 for so long without explanation. Maybe after the winter sales it’s win stats will be so good the devs have to move it up.

Su11 is awsome, i have used multiple "test rides" from warbond shop. For me its 9/10 just like f89 but at way lower BR. Its nice in air RB, and you can also use it in ground battles.
The su-11 spam actually made the German sea hawk mk100 in a very strong position right now, When I play the sea hawk I get consistently down tier to 7.0 and and I can just hunt those su-11 all day with the aim-9bs
i've been shot down by one su-11 in my b-29 bombing career... Spit did it but i'll never let my gunners down again, my buddy fmt3 and I will dunk on dem su-11s with our 50cal!
I mean from what I see the Su-11 is just an Su-9 with better engine and worst maneuverability because the engine is fitted as high as the wing instead of below the wing. IMO the Su-9 is far better at handling props and great enough to handle jets properly while the Su-11 doesn't really do much except go fast.
Finally someone realises how P2W this thing is. When I play my F-80A at 7.0, I have almost a 3.0K/D. The Su-9 and the Su-11 are the only things I truly fear at that entire battle rating, because those things, if piloted right, can get on my tail and stick on it. Thank god for the fact that most of the players are braindead because it's a premium. I have given up on playing all F-84s, as they are such high tiers, and in my experience get shit on as most of the time I get uptiered to 8.3, and even if I don't get uptiered then people just outdo the thing in basically every regard. Also I just remembered the F-80 has an 18k SL repair cost, vs the repair cost of the russian tech tree Su-9 at 7.5k SL.
I think the only reason it still sits at 7.0 is, that new players can’t aim the guns. On another note could you play the J29A or A29B? I like them, but when you face stuff like F-89Bs, which sit at the same BR or in the A29Bs case lower, it really feels like they’re better in every way besides roll rate.
Wtf i am playing J29A and A29B, i spaded the J29 a with 73% wr and 2.5 kd. With the A29, that i still haven't spaded, i have 65ish% wr and 2.2 kd. They are awesome

I remember when i called this out on the su11 the only argument against it i got was its limited ammo, constantly. I guess the kikka and 262 have unlimited ammo then.. I mean this plane isnt the braindead plane to the, was it f89 rocket launcher, but is practically on par
People keep saying there is no soviet bias. And I agree, there is no OBVIOUS soviet bias. Then we take a look at the Su-11, T-80BVM, MIG-23MLD, very low repair costs (the BMP-2M costs only 2k to repair, while the T-72A is not even 2k) and we come to the conclusion that yes, soviet bias DOES exist. It's just not that obvious.

bought this jet to help me grind up to 7.0 so i can play that br with my brother. glad that my 60 bucks was kind of not really worth it but ive got a good jet now
Word of warning to those that play with high ping. This thing is very hard to aim, like spit here you will have to spam a bit even with great aim like on the last F84 in the first game. To me spit has excellent aim and it shows how hard the guns can be at higher ping. In a test flight it's alot easier to aim, in a game it's almost schizophrenic, you'll get amazing shots and sometimes miss simple ones.
I got the su11 is some sale earlier this year, totally worth it to grind the Russian air tree if you know what you are doing. It should definitely be higher, of course that would mean it has to fight Sabres etc, consequences of compression everybody.
Dude I’ve been trying to dogfight this thing for like a month. I mean it makes sense why it’s been hard but I’ve had some luck dog fighting with it (my flying is probably my strongest game asset tho, not to spits level obviously.) but maybe I’ve just been lucky to fight less experienced players. trying to research american 6 rank and it is actually fucking pain, plenty 7.0 Su-11 and 7.7 La-200 overpower soviet side so much that whole american attackers team dies before your F-80 reaches the battlefield. Despite having 3/1 k/d i have 27% winrate on it and all american 5 rank has the same trend

Fighting this thing is insanely unfair You need a full uptier to counter these effectively. Even in the Barrel this thing can keep up for a fair bit of time.
i suck with the russian jets, but that's a personal problem cause those guns just don't work for me, even after many hours struggling in the mig-9 and then mig-15 & mig-15bis i just can't get a feel for the russian guns
Definitely a p2w game. But the issue is not premium vehicles or just vehicles but crew skills upgraded by golden eagle. For example, if 2 people have the same plane, one of them upgrades his pilot skills to ace level with GE, while the other plays with the stock pilot. One can do ace combat maneuvers while the other faints at the slightest G force, which is definitely the biggest proof that the game is not fair and that it is p2w.
I don't think it is that good. Today was my first day in the f89b and in jets and I could kill one quite easily. But it depends on what pilot controls it

The su-11 is competitive against the f80 c10 and is .7 br lower
The actual airframe and armament is identical to the Su-9, but the engines produce a bit over 400 kg more thrust each over those on the Su-9.

Gaijin changed its FM a few years back, the thing used to be VERY heavy.

Play the Ki-61-I Tei. It cant climb but is a bonkers energy dogfighter. Its either doomed to fail or slaughters the entire enemy team.

People keep saying there is no soviet bias. And I agree, there is no OBVIOUS soviet bias. Then we take a look at the Su-11, T-80BVM, MIG-23MLD, very low repair costs (the BMP-2M costs only 2k to repair, while the T-72A is not even 2k) and we come to the conclusion that yes, soviet bias DOES exist. It's just not that obvious.

Word of warning to those that play with high ping. This thing is very hard to aim, like spit here you will have to spam a bit even with great aim like on the last F84 in the first game. To me spit has excellent aim and it shows how hard the guns can be at higher ping. In a test flight it's alot easier to aim, in a game it's almost schizophrenic, you'll get amazing shots and sometimes miss simple ones.
Just got the F-80A-5 and haven’t won a single match since getting it because literally everything I face is SU-11’s and La-200’s

I got the su11 is some sale earlier this year, totally worth it to grind the Russian air tree if you know what you are doing.
It should definitely be higher, of course that would mean it has to fight Sabres etc, consequences of compression everybody.

Dude I’ve been trying to dogfight this thing for like a month. I mean it makes sense why it’s been hard but I’ve had some luck dog fighting with it (my flying is probably my strongest game asset tho, not to spits level obviously.) but maybe I’ve just been lucky to fight less experienced players. Good to know tho.

Definitely a p2w game. But the issue is not premium vehicles or just vehicles but crew skills upgraded by golden eagle. For example, if 2 people have the same plane, one of them upgrades his pilot skills to ace level with GE, while the other plays with the stock pilot. One can do ace combat maneuvers while the other faints at the slightest G force, which is definitely the biggest proof that the game is not fair and that it is p2w.
