- In this Goodwill thrift with me I literally fill my car up with all the amazing finds that I will resale. This store is historically really full of cool stuff and today was no exception, in fact they were putting stuff out as I was there!

Hi, Dannie, I’m a new fan, who found so much joy in you and your show. I had to retire early from a bad injury, was a Grief Therapist for years before. My dad and I loved going to garage sales together and he taught me a lot of the “rules”, no cracks. You have such sweet children and friends. Sadly, you’ve been hit with the darker side of humanity. It takes a lot to get back up like you did, and remember, all those mean people have to face God! I’ll be watching (I left this comment on a really old video, so I wanted to make sure you saw it!)

It's not your responsibility to make sure everyone succeeds in this business. You give plenty of useful information, tips, and tricks to help people, and it's up to them to put the work in to make their business succeed. You're doing everything you can think of to provide more and more information to help people earn enough to have a reasonably comfortable life or even just a profitable hobby, and you should be thanked for it rather than have people come at you for ridiculous reasons. And yes, you do deserve to make a decent profit. It's how you make a living, so you deserve every cent of profit you can squeeze out of each item. People don't realise the hours and money that go into sourcing stock, listing, storing, packing, and shipping, plus the knowledge you have to accumulate to enable you to make wise, informed decisions. You shouldn't be made to feel guilty about doing your best to provide a good life for yourself and your family.

I wonder if there's just one person of those doing the pricing that is out of their mind. You found lots of nice items at prices that make sense, but way too many things are priced so high that even those buying for personal use will turn them down. Those cactus drink charms slide on the edge of the glass. When you turned the package sideways I could see they had a slit up the middle, and the picture on the front was them on the edge, not floating. Those funky animal mugs were there the whole time, but you were distracted by some other cool ones. Lucky you went back to find them to reunite Lady Tigress.
I've been reselling as a shop for a couple of years now and I'm not doing fantastic, but I am selling sometimes. I've sold on eBay since 2002, but back then I sold stuff around the house and baby items as my son grew out of them. Now I go to hole in the wall thrift stores and antiques shops (mainly because where I am in NH we're crawling with them, it's wonderful. Antique Ally). I'm hoping things get better and this can be my FT job. I've had my fair share of the darker side of humanity, some knocking me down pretty low. My dream is to run my shop by myself, I love every part of it and pray it gets better.
Each and every video you post lifts me up. You care so much and love your viewers is obvious. Danni, you sharing your knowledge and sharing your faith is what helps. Using the gifts God gave you makes our lives better.❤️

I think the " thing" that you were turning around and around that you thought something was missing...( Right before the rolling pin on the holder) It's a puzzle. When you get it right, I think a marble rolls out of the hole ( nothing is missing)

Our Goodwills have always had the "No Price Tag No Sale" rule and what we do.. well, at least I do .. .is take the item up to the cashier when I check out and turn it in. That way they can get it priced and back on the shelf for maybe my next visit! I had suggested at one place that they could have a shopping cart up near the cashiers with a sign that reads "Place the items with no price tag in here". I think its a good thing to do, cause how many times are folks going to pick up that mushroom that is untagged and put it back down until one of the workers finds out it has no price.

Thanks for the videos❤ They relieved the tedium of the aftereffects of chemotherapy . I live in a regional town in the state of Victoria Australia. We have many similar types to Goodwill stores in town but on much much smaller scale. I don’t resell but to browse and rescue crystal and bits and pieces which I give as gifts to friends and family. If you are referring to eBay, there is a fee schedule listed. Would advise following the beginner tutorial. Just start with one item, research what a like item sells for, take your time listing the item, review before posting. Look at the item once it's live to double check. Even when it's live, you can edit the listing. Remember, clear sharp pictures can make all the difference. Start small, don't try to eat the elephant whole. Baby steps.
