Lathrix, when shells get slowed by water the fuses sometimes won't work, So use a super-cavation base to fix that. I think.

Your FTD series are some of my favorite videos on TH-cam beyond a shadow of a doubt. I'm current on this campaign but am only up to S3 E20 otherwise. I have a suggestion for your ship naming scheme that's simply dredged up from S3: name everything after creatures from Sacrifice according to load out and/or mission. Anything with lasers gets a Pyro creature designation. Air units are Stratos. Land-based structures or ships with a ridiculously huge cannon get James names. Resource bases with good repair ability or specialized repair vehicles are Persephone designations. And, of course, anything that's simply badass belongs to Charnel because we all know who's the best Sacrifice deity. I feel this would simplify and streamline your organization and, plus, I'd be eager to see how you can apply your expansive imagination to this scheme. Also, without a ship called the "Netherfiend" you have no good reason to demand that the enemy give you their souls.
Lathrix, if someone could get a reward for building in from the depths, it would be you who gets it.

Chris Bruce he has made really good ships but he said in old episodes that he wants to balance his vehicles so the enemy can atleast do some damage

You always say you're function over form kind of guy, yet your stuff always shows a lot of attention to detail. Those spikes on the sides of the turrets were a nice touch.
Lathrix do you think Having a Huge 500mm HESH shell could be somewhat fun to do?
And not one, I made a turret with 10 X 500mm cannons with 8 meter shells. Then added three of those to my ship. It's glorious. I set it up so that each cannon has a different delay, so they shoot in succession, like the missiles. Delivering a constant barrage of high explosive shells at an extremely long range.
Lathrix putting shields on the sub would do wonders for its survivability
I just thought of an evil craft. A melee aircraft that, if it moves under a certain speed or IE it hits something, it activates up and down thrusters at the front to dig through what it hit. Make it able to take off from the water and you have a very effective kamikaze.
lath if your getting migraines from stress you should take it easy and take a few days of recording if this calms you then still take it easy.... I hope you get better soon!

Sometimes fuzzy's not so bad , you made me laugh when the ship wouldn't stop tipping over.
Lathrix you really need to put your designs online somewhere because it would be so useful for us to be able to see and interact with your creations.
I think the reason why the shells were being deflected even thought hey have inertial fuses is because inertial fuses only detonate the explosives in the shell, and the explosion doesn't affect the shell. the reason why we rarely see this is because the shell usually hits the target, doing kinetic damage, and detonating it's warheads at the same time
You can add propellors to the side of your ship. Make a ACB that activates a sertain key when it rolls to mutch to an side. So you can stabelise the ship.

Have a frag shell with 180 degree fragments, and also have a penetration fuse so when it goes into the ship it will gut the ship.

Suggestion for the second cannon. Possibly try anti-shield EMP rounds so that it can take down shields for the armor piercing cannon?

I am almost certain that my mini-sub would have killed the ship. If in deep enough water. It hugs to the bottom, stays a long way away and uses long range torpedoes to slowly take enemies apart.

Inertial fuses going into ignorance mode if set to 0 degrees.
@Lathland the interial fuse didnt work because the shell head countered the interial fuse by using the explosions to do more damage in a shockwave

Squash head ammo has a tendency of bouncing off of targets when it's not hitting something flat on
still, yes the "HEAT" shell does shoot a blast of copper in the enemy. But "HEAT" means HighExplosivAntiTank and we use it on ships against ships (and sometimes even flying things), pretty funny in my opinion :D:D:D

Lathland, you should build a graviton CANNON, along with speed shells. That would make a awesome weapon, Maybe with MISSILES!

Please if possible make a missile silo for your island that's basically just a very tall armored tower with extremely tall and damaging missiles I think that would be awesome

You know, that sinking hull of the ship looks much better, than self-destruction. Also, are ramming ships any good in FtD? Cos ramming is kind of Khorne style, with oil and blood painting your rams and guts coiled on your drills.

lathrix, you give yourself too much shit. your designs are awesome, theyre intricate, theyre unique, sharp, powerful, and you do such a good job of making a noticable theme out of your designs, without simply making slightly changed copies of any one vehicle. not only that, i can actually tell what your designs are supposed to be. classes like the white flayers and onyx watch are too intricate and flashy, and can be hard to tell whats supposed to be what, or even just be plain ugly. stop giving yourself shit, youre an awesome designer. keep it up, you always impress!

Lathrix, tbh i haven't watched the older series from years ago, but how about making a true railgun(if it is at all even half-viable disregarding the cost), though that may be redundant with this new ship, a nice Ultra-fast shell that if accurate would have a hard time dodging (say, over 2km/s).

Yup. That's why these shells act like their real world counter part.. kinda. Doesn't matter that weis are firing them at ships, they are still HEAT style shells.
