  • The Best Paragliding Sites In The World are breathtaking. These TOP 10 paragliding sites are spectacular, unique and considered to belong to the best in the world. There are many truly amazing paragliding spots in the world and I had a difficult time deciding which ones will make it to the list.
    #Paragliding #Paraglidinglife #Paraglider
    I think it is hard to say which places are the best for paragliding in the whole world simply because each and every one has it's own characteristics and special thing to it. The ranking has been done randomly... I would love to fly the sandy dunes of dune du pyla just as much as I would fly in Ölüdeniz. Of course there are a bunch more amazing places to fly paraglider, therefore I mentioned a couple of them in the last segment of the video. I hope you enjoyed the video and if you did so, don't forget to like and subscribe! See you in the next one.

      This is a fairly peculiar list - and it all depends on ones criteria. Which were yours? And btw, sadly Pokhara is totally nerfed through the airport now. Only Tandem glide-down currently allowed. Sadly the site is dead.

    • @NilfNilf1972
      @NilfNilf1972 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If you’ve been flying in CA, you will _love_ flying the Alps. Much softer thermals, endless meadows to take off and land, and no low-level inversion from the pacific. (I’ve flown SoCal, and there the thermals are nasty and XC is much harder than other places)

    • @SkidzFPV
      @SkidzFPV 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@NilfNilf1972 yes, I fly more inland than the socal sites. I fly the Sierra Nevada mountains (west side, haven’t been to the Owens yet) but yes the thermals can be nasty, landing options can be very limited and if you do find a nice field to land in you can find yourself starting down the barrel of a angry land owners shot gun. So as the other more experienced pilots have told me, if you learn to fly XC here you will be able to fly XC anywhere. I haven’t gotten much further than about 10km from launch, but I have flown 10k out and back and made some nice little triangles, I’ve only got about 70 hours flight time, so the fact that I’m doing that in such extreme conditions and terrain i feel like I’m doing ok. I’d love to go to Colombia or the alps, I’d imagine it would be incredible, and i could probably triple my personal best if not more in places like that. Hopefully going to Colombia next year, if i have time and money.

    Crestline California, dude! Considered in the top 5 in the world. I live here. 300 flyable days a year and world record setting conditions. Pilots have flown both Paragliders and hangliders from here to Arizona, Nevada, and even Mexico! A lot of record setting pilots live here including Mitch Macaleer. I probably have the record if not world record at 51 toplandings in one session in 2021. My previous record was 33. That is hard to beat!
