CES 2024 of Consumer Electronics Show was packed full of Augmented Reality (AR) this year. In previous years, we’ve seen much more of a focus on the Metaverse and Virtual Reality (VR) but AR really stole the show. We are finally starting to see true augmented reality such as the Xreal Ultra 2 or the RayNeo. worth the wait. very insightful. a friend of mine just got the rayband meta glasses. she's not very technical and found them handy while she was traveling and the camera quality was impressive. better than i thought it would be.

Wow!! the XReal Ultra 2 and the Ultraleap conrol just blowed the mind. I mean the last one is actually the dream of everyone who ever tried to do anything with these headsets, because using the plastic conrollers with buttons is just not something super comporfable, it's for sure is the future of ar/vr controls

True... I live in a hot country and I would like to have those little robots to do some household chores like window-cleaning. I saw one show the other day that had a window cleaner, but you have to pick it up and set it against a window. It should be like a spider or the like that you just tell it to do all of the windows in the house. Inside as outside as well. I met a guy who has problems with his back and cannot cut his lawn anymore. He doesn't want people to come to do it, so now he has a robot grassmachine... Those are really usefull gadgets. Why waste time on cleaning if you have so many other (nicer) things to do, right?

This is honestly what I day dream about on a daily basis. A few years back, there was a robot the sorted your laundry and folded it. At the time, it was $16,000. If I was rich enough, I would've bought it.

vr glasses are trash, vr headsets are awesome with spacial tracking, no light leaking, and social experiences on vrchat. everything else is just a gimic without social vr
