This is the bleeding edge of coverage - ebike chase, fpv drone, heli, stationary - imo the ebike chase is brilliant!! 🤘😆🤘interleave rider interview!! congrats!!
Thanks for the props! Our team works hard to bring you the best coverage we can. Gotta say tho, sometimes there are just too many great stories to pick from!
This is some of the best content out there. I'm a roadie and a runner, and yet I REFUSE to miss anything Life Time Grand Prix publishes. Top notch production.
“Cuffing Stupid Sport!!!” I love it. He’s just saying what we’re all thinking every time we crash that hard. Also, if you see someone pointing a quality camera right at you near the end of long downhill, bad news is coming, and they plan to document it all.
My wife is my best friend, accomplished, gorgeous, mother of my two amazing boys, and I love her almost as much as I love the Lifetime Grand Prix Media Team. Thanks guys for promoting this great series! Grateful for what you're doing for the sport and along for the ride.
Great change of format - thank you!! Suggestion: slow down the leaderboard graphic run-through mid-episode just ever so slightly. Currently its a bit tough to follow (especially while on a trainer 😅).
As the series continues, would love to see a little camera time given to some of the Top 10 LTGP racers. Amazing to see the battle at the front, but the BEST OF THE REST is also good!
Great format. I really like the longer programmes with more background on the riders, the event, everything! Thanks to the riders, support staff, production, filming, all involved. Keep it up.
Awesome with the quick turnaround on production of this video. One thing, though, and you're not the only one doing it. When you add punchy music like the violins and drums in the first 6 minutes...it's really hard to hear what the people being interviewed are saying with the music that loud...it's too much.
Loved this, but just a bit of constructive feedback: I personally found the background music (when watched via TH-cam app on a high end Samsung smart TV) way too loud (and overdone). But great that you made it available so quick... fun to watch!
Great coverage, we get a sense of how hard it is to cover a mountain bike race. Would be great to have longer chase sequences from one of the ebikes to get a better feel for the track they're riding. Here there were so many jump cuts that it wasn't as immersive as it could have been.
Love the recap! The race footage from the drones, helicopter, and e-bikes is next level this year! I really enjoyed hearing from the people behind the event and seeing more of the expo too. Hope to get more of this for the other races!
I thought it was just me. I'm very happy for the coverage but could not watch it due to the heavily produced format. I just want to watch the race. Everyone else seems to like it, the other comments are very (almost identically) similar and effusively positive. I wish the race and production team every success.
Totally agree. I had to stop watching. Would love to see the race but 10 million cuts and irrelevant cliche comments and the LOUD music made it impossible.
I enjoyed the series last year, but you've taken it to a new level. Love the quick turnaround and greater concentration on the actual race. I think you've struck the right balance between interviews and race footage. Well done!
Loved the coverage over the past couple of seasons but this is awesome that you are putting it out throughout the year. Super excited to watch extended highlights straight after each event!
Or even better, remove all stupid music. I had to stop watching this shit, would love to see the actual racing but this production sucks. Cuts, cuts, 5 sec racing, cuts, stupid cliche words from riders pre racing, cuts, music, more cuts, 5 sec racing, cuts, cuts.
As others are saying, you guys did a superlative job telling the stories inside the event and releasing such a polished, compelling recap mere days after the race. Very, very impressive stuff.
Goose bumps! Life Time Events crew, thank you so much for the amazing race coverage and production. This is by far the most exciting and inspiring race series I have ever watched. Can‘t wait for the upcoming episodes of the third season. The newly added E-bike footage is superb too.
Excellent job, especially considering the turn-around time. Some of the feedback in these comments is fair, but you will never make 100% of the viewers happy. This was done well, and was published very quickly. Keep up the good work.
Good content really fast turn around can't wait for the next one. Feedback: If possible can we get more info on the people not in the top 5, I know the cameras are focused on the leaders, but in post I'd love to hear commentary on everyone else. Where was Russell did he have issues?
Great feedback, thanks! We're always looking to improve our game. Unfortunately Finsterwald suffered a flat tire early in the first lap. Big slice and spent considerable time trying to get going again...he finished and scored a few points - onto Unbound!
Some feedback; I found it hard to follow what was going on in both races, with constant chopping and changing between the men’s and women’s races, interviews, recaps on previous years and VTs about the event. For a video titled ‘race highlights’ I expected more focus on the racing, but as the extra content adds value, I’d suggest a different running order. Put the intro content at the start, show a full block of highlights from one race, then you can show another chunk of extra content before showing the other race. Then tie it all up at the end.
Thanks for the feedback, we're always iterating and will take everyones feedback into consideration - stay tuned for Unbound in just over a months time!
Thank you so much for this coverage. It is greatly appreciated and enjoyed! This is much preferable to trying to catch the stories section on instagram!
I appreciate they're going for something different but I'd sure love just some normal highlights without the narrative, race preview and choppy editing etc. Maybe split this in depth race review from race highlights? 🤷
In what POSSIBLE way is that a “flex”? That expression makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. What’s flexing? Who’s flexing? Is this a new (made up) word? 😮
It’s amazing to see just how quickly you were able to get this incredible product out. Great coverage! Somehow I wish you could capture more of the experience for most of us mid packers. I like racing. But I would like gravel even without the elite racers
This highly scripted and edited highlights video falls short of the 2023 'Call of a Lifetime' series. It was too reliant on scripted overdubs and short on racer insights. Just my opinion. I love the series and appreciate that HUGE logistics went into making this happen. I don't know why you re-tooled the format. I also think you value viewer feedback. Not a hater, I will share this far and wide regardless!
That's how racing coverage should be done. So excited for the rest of the series. Amazing video production. Get some GoPros on all the top riders and upload full footage good indoor trainer material. Thanks
Like others, I'm very glad and excited to see race recaps, so close to the race. Waiting months, for "Call of a Lifetime", while worth the wait, it's nice to see up to date videos, with a Lifetime spin on it. Thanks team!
I’m glad this series is getting more coverage this year. Can y’all list the entire grand prix results at the end? And also the updated overall after each race?
Congratulations. As many have said, the quality of the production is fantastic and I will definitely be following along for the season. Is there a way that your team can reference the riders in the overlay or by a graphic that identifies them. ie. Matt in the South African national champs jersey, Sam in the white jersey in that chase group holding third wheel…would really help have a great awareness of the riders. PS. The Mo Wilson reference and the extra insight from riders mixed throughout was much appreciated.
Thanks for the thoughtful feedback - we are so happy you're tuning in and know that we're always iterating and will take your recommendations to heart. Stay tuned for Unbound Gravel next!
I am super sad to not be there this year. The recap is really nice and helps alot! BTW I don't usually laugh when someone wipes out but that was right out of On Any Sunday! Great recap!
Awesome coverage. I look forward to them all. Really nice work. I’d love to have a little longer race segments. And… You might just take the breathless enthusiasm down a notch in the middle so you have somewhere to build to toward the end. There were definitely a few moments in the middle that sounded like someone is trying a little too hard.
Are you going to feature all the events this year? Massively improved from last year, pace was great and enjoyed seeing other parts of the event - expo, kids, families etc.
Just curious, is this the only Life Time Grand Prix event with mountain bikes? Do the riders have the option to run either MTB or gravel bike? I believe the rest of the events are run with gravel bikes? Great footage & editing work!!
Glad you were able to catch the show! The Life Time Grand Prix is made up of both MTB and Gravel events that test the mettle of all of the riders, regardless of bike choice. Leadville is MTB, although some have tried a gravel bike 🤕... Chequamegon is one of the longest running MTB races in the US. The other 4 events are gravel events and range for a relatively short 70mi to 200mi for Unbound Gravel!
Very nicely done. Looking forward to the rest of the series . .. from my couch! How'd yall get the POV, behind the race footage? GoPro on a rider's helmet? They look so clear.
This is the bleeding edge of coverage - ebike chase, fpv drone, heli, stationary - imo the ebike chase is brilliant!! 🤘😆🤘interleave rider interview!! congrats!!

This is some of the best content out there. I'm a roadie and a runner, and yet I REFUSE to miss anything Life Time Grand Prix publishes. Top notch production.
Thanks for following along, it's gonna be a great season!
17:28 an accurate description of me every time I crash
“Cuffing Stupid Sport!!!” I love it. He’s just saying what we’re all thinking every time we crash that hard. Also, if you see someone pointing a quality camera right at you near the end of long downhill, bad news is coming, and they plan to document it all.
Pure class giving a shoutout to MO’s foundation and ride.
Appreciate the quick recap turn around!
Big thanks to @MaverickHelicopters
Going to be very nice to watch these within 48 hours post race. Thank you
We've got a great team putting these together, stay tuned for more!
I'm so grateful. You have no idea how starved I am for bicycle race coverage. Finally somebody doing it right.
Love to hear it! Thanks for tuning in and subscribing - more to come!
This is not real bicycle racing...
Did you not watch the spring classics?
@@rlm4471 How would you recommend to watch the pro racing from Japan?

Thanks guys for promoting this great series! Grateful for what you're doing for the sport and along for the ride.
Hey now, you're too kind to mention us in the same breath!
Men & women in the same coverage! This is the future of sport!! Loving this format!
We think so too!
Wow. Amazing job Life Time Grand Prix with these race video recaps. Next level. So exciting to watch!!! Can't wait to see Unbound. Woot!
Great change of format - thank you!! Suggestion: slow down the leaderboard graphic run-through mid-episode just ever so slightly. Currently its a bit tough to follow (especially while on a trainer 😅).
Thanks for the tip!
Yep. I paused it to read. :)
pause the video?
16:22 Matt Beers looks like a dad on an afternoon ride with his kids 😂
There's nothing like the Beers train !
choo choo 🚂 💨
Beers is probably the only racer here that will give Keegan a go this year.
at the 2:56 he was talking about the video series, and I was thinking I just wish they were longer, then hovered over the vid and saw 50 mins. Nice.
Glad we could deliver for ya!
As the series continues, would love to see a little camera time given to some of the Top 10 LTGP racers. Amazing to see the battle at the front, but the BEST OF THE REST is also good!
These guys (including Payson with his race recaps) will make us addicted to LTGP content, amazing to see!
There is so much going on in every race it's impossible to cover all the storylines...we love to see those recaps too!
Great format. I really like the longer programmes with more background on the riders, the event, everything! Thanks to the riders, support staff, production, filming, all involved. Keep it up.
More to come!

Well done! Finally put all the pieces together in the coverage. Feedback: lower background music a little! Well done!!!
Noted!
The mix will be different depending on what you are listening to it on.. ( iPad, computer, tv etc.. on iPad it seems nicely in the background..
@@kevinw3621 Thanks for that information . On my phone it was loud.
On my Samsung TV it was also super loud.
It's good music but it should complement, but not overpower... it's a fine line. Well done on the overall edit though!

Wow this is crazy to have this high of a production so soon after the event. Love the video length too. Excited even more to race Unbound
Thanks!
Rest in peace Champ - Mo Wilson.. what an amazing ride.. lost too soon - makes me so sad and angry..
How did he die again?
Note to editor: You are not cutting a trailer! This was impossible to watch.
