His basic strategy would be to kill as little as possible, only killing npc's and collaborators and attempting to figure out who L is before writing his name down. He'd essentially be aiming for a single kill.

Death note is such a gem. It basically jump-starts the idea of "Casts of characters who are literal geniuses and masters of manipulators" Unfortunately it's Isekai trend right now and oh boy, it's brainrot as hell.

Right. I believe the game just classifies it as a heart attack, even though its a clear reference to the hanging. I don't believe it's a translation error ( since JP should also say its a heart attack ) but the game just decided to give this cutscene to the heart attack killing
Its really fun tbh, Ive been playing it a lot and honestly the ugly style wears on you. Tho it depends on online so it can varie in experience because you got the good servers where it feels like your actually inside of the anime and the bad ones where everyone screams a letter and they all vote with no evidence. Also being Kira or L is so goddamn fun

This game is an instant GOTY for finally giving us a non Jump Force Light who actually gets to laugh and smirk unlike in that game.
For a seemingly simple design of a game which both surprisingly and oddly holds back to attain a Teen rating, I am quite impressed.
