Glad I found this. Been getting matched with a lot of DCers and my PS5 version keeps crashing forcing me to start over on PS4, but new map and Mello skin? That’s a nice surprise.

Hi its me again, After playing a bit more I think the first guide I'd want is prob Kira, cuz I (kinda) already know how to play L but kira you need to know where to kill, when to use the transceiver, how to like blend in with the others while being kira, anyways nice vid keep up the good content :D

Honestly Investigator / Revealed investigator some people just don't understand when it's time to do task and when to Stay laser focus on the Kiras team so they can't do anything to raise New World Progress.
Edit: Mostly place to run when chased and how different Investigator playstyle changes once revealed.
I have a theory that for the train its much more risky to be caught if your kira but you get more kills then normal instead of 2
I just hope they fix the terrible stability issues. People leaving is ruining the game kicking everyone to lobby and on PS5 it often crashes during peek player hours. I had 8 full games in a row this morning. I have tried to play 45 total games today. After those full games I began getting crashes and I kept trying because it’s a fun game. I only had 1 more game that went start to finish. Only 9 of those games ended because people left the rest all were hard crashes sending me back to the PlayStation game home page asking if I wanted to put in an error code report.
My crashes happen immediately after the game starts or when trials start. I just want to play it! I’d be way nicer to this game if it functioned but it have such a small amount of content and hardly ever works for me makes it so every time I think about playing it I just go play something else.
If I didn’t get a solid 8 games in start to finish in a row I likely would have stopped trying to play long ago. I do internet resets, console resets and nothing consistently works after it gets past about 2pm in my area, right when a lot of kids are getting home from school. This thanksgiving week I’m pretty sure for me it’ll always be unplayable after tomorrow.
I literally just tried to boot up my system and play this game. Hard crash in the lobby, a second one when I got back on when the first trial started. -_-
Update. I just downloaded the PS4 version on my PS5. Your progress will not carry over but I just played a bunch of games in a row and had no crashes just some lobby leavers.
I see you've already possibly solved the problem by reinstalling a different version, which is great! I'm not on playstation but when I started playing on PC I had the game set to a different hard drive than my boot drive (the one that has Windows+Steam) and it crashed constantly. After moving the install to the drive with windows, I haven't had a single crash since. I'm wondering if this could be a similar issue with Playstation if you have multiple hard drives? It seems to be some sort of compatibility issue but since the game is made in Unity it's not a big surprise, unfortunately.
For those that don't have a secondary hard drive/storage, uninstalling and reinstalling may be the best solution. On PC you can 'fix' your files by checking validity - if PS has this option that may also help with the crashes.
In the meantime, those with crashes SHOULD report it to the Devs, otherwise they won't be able to figure out what's wrong as easily and the fix will be slower, that's what bug reports are for after all!
This happens to me to the point of exhaustion and I just play another game.
