Some reviewers really like the Stevens, but going by your review I'd take the Savage by a small margin. You liked the Savage bolt and I'm impressed that you got a good one, quite a few reviewers complain about the bolt. I wish that a 60 degree bolt throw was standard on bolt actions. This was an informative and fair review as usual, good job!
see i'd be hard pressed to get the stevens, but at the same time they both shoot really well. the trigger on the stevens would be the let down for me. but if i get my deer with it then maybe its worth it. thanks for the review, now i have to really think which one i really want this year LOL keep up the good work!!!
Hello, I have watched almost every hunting rifle review. I can't decide which one I want to buy. Could you please help me out and suggest few cheap rifles worth considering.
My bolt is like butter on my 334 Turk walnut 308. This rifle impresses me more than my expensive rifles. Just remember ATA produces the 334 far more superior than the axis
What i find amusing is...if your one who shoots all the time why buy a cheap rifle and whine??? The rest of us shoot a few to be sure we r on...then we shoot 1 time when we hunt...i wish they would make single shot axis rifles
Thank you Vernon for another balanced video. Always good to watch a channel that is presented and run by an adult😊! Cheers from NZ🇳🇿.
thanks buddy for the comment Cheers from canada!!

the savage seems to be the winner to me. thanks for the review
the stevens looks cool though
i'd take the savage myself
nice comparison. i think its a close one but the savage would win in my view!!! thanks again for the great reviews

@GillianJ64 yea I know what you mean it is a hard choice between the 2.tyanks for the comment
Btw the trigger is absolutely adjustable you just need to know what you’re doing. If you don’t know how don’t
there is green stuff on the adjustment so that you dont adjust it. that is why its there.
@@UltimateArms
Sure there is. But you stated it’s non adjustable when in fact it really is. The glue just needs to be removed.
the glue is there so it cant be adjusted. hence the glue.. its there for a reason is all
@@UltimateArms the reason the glue is on the set screw is because savage made ATA do it.
334 walnut is much better than both
