I recently purchased A Savage 110 Hog Hunter, I ordered It from Davidsons and had It shipped to a local FFL Dealer. When I got home I opened the box and discovered that the rifle left the factory with the complete Front & Rear Sight Assemblies MISSING! One of the selling points of the Hog Hunter Is the Open Sight Feature of this rifle, as a matter of fact Im pretty sure Its the only Center Fire Bolt Gun that Savage sells with Open Sights! This was a few days after Christmas and Savage closes up shop for the holidays for a few weeks. I tried calling their Customer Service # after their workers retuned to work on January 7th but I couldn't get through to anyone. I finally was able to contact Savage Customer Service last Monday Jan 20th and their CS Rep sent me a front & rear sight set. I tried to Install the rear sight but the screw seems to be too short! I just ordered a Machine Screw set from Amazon and I'll see If I can attach the rear sight with a new screw! If not I'll just scope It and shoot It as Is! This will be the last Savage Product I will buy. Their Quality (Or Lack Of) Control Is ABYSMAL!!!! I really like Howa Rifles! I think the Howa 1500 ( Weatherby Vanguard Is A Howa 15000) Is a Quality Rifle at a reasonable price. I think the problem with Savage Is that they make way too many different models of firearms and Quality Control Suffers because of that! I enjoyed your video and feel your disappointment!

Like every other Savage I've shot. Some shots good but always flyers.

So, a so called low end rifle is a 1,000 dollars and less!! Something must be done with prices!! This is absolutely ridiculous! A 1,000 dollars and less is not considered a budget rifle!! Keep in mind, your buying a rifle not a used vehicle

You want to go hunting. Take a challenge in a jungle, baby!!

I still like the Ruger American and plan to take it to the jungles of Southeast Asia. The factory will fix any issues without question. The Savage Axis is acceptable, but I don’t like the loss in quality that I’ve experienced with it. I prefer smooth and perfectly functioning handles. The Savage 110 Hunter feels a bit heavy to carry around during a safari or in the jungles after long hours in the heat, so I wouldn’t recommend it for that. However, in normal temperatures in America, I love the Savage 110 Hunter!

I choose the Ruger American. I will take it on an African safari, through the Outback in Australia, and in the jungles of Thailand and the Philippines. Ruger American can handle the abuse, not a cascade.

For me the Savage 110 trail hunter. The factory have parts and fix it for free. The Remington i only like the tactical rifles. The Howa i don't know, I never have it...???

I like both, but the venom is a little better for me . The glass is a little clearer in the venom..and that to me is very important.

Porque no coincide las yardas que están en la torreta lateral. Ejemplo quieres tirar a 20 yardas y para poder enfocar tengo que darle hasta donde marca 35 yardas para que enfoque que se puede hacer?

I don't like NOT having MOA, or PRICE of over $1900 with tax & shipping-- but Japanese glass is GREAT and reticle is GREAT and Pop-up is Good and Magnification is Good.

The Pristine Action and Heller Arms 7PRC was a dream to shoot. With 4 mils of wind at mid day was easy getting people on the 8" plate at 930 yards. it's a great feeling seeing people faces light up when they connect with steel at distance.

There are lots of budget rifle reviews online but this has to be one of the best ones. Lots of useful information. Thanks for producing it. One question I had was whether or not those MSRP prices you were using were in American dollars? I often find that the MSRP is more rather than less than the actual retail price. With respect to the Winchester XPR, I have one in a 270 Winchester that does have an adjustable trigger. There is a bit of blue paste on the screws but it comes off quite easily and the manual has instructions on how to adjust it. That being said, I find lots of people online saying that the trigger is not adjustable. Are there some that are adjustable and others aren't? Anyway, I find it somewhat confusing
