    I'm autistic and some of these symptoms are also autistic burnout signs. Symptoms always overlap with other disorders and sometimes it might just be depression but, you know, it's not bad information. the point is, you can research more about the topic, but don't diagnose yourself with a video like this.

      But this is something that I experience everyday extreme shifts in mood, when being sad desiring to be happy and healthy and when that comes enjoying it to the fullest

      @@owenmacleod8681 It's not that you want to. It's that you want to understand why you feel the way you do. A need to express a serge of emotion but you don't know what to call them all. I knew I had depression and anxiety long before I was diagnosed by a professional. Now I realize that I am not always depressed, I have really highs and even lower lows.

    Bipolar disorder exists in the professional athlete world, 2 1/2 times higher than in the general population if you’re bipolar and being to have certain qualities that can separate you from the population and not in a bad way

    Where did they get the decreased “need” for sleep idea from? A lot of the scary symptoms of bipolar sound exactly like the symptoms of sleep deprivation. Honestly I think some bipolar disorders should mainly be thought of as a sleeping disorder with psychiatric symptoms rather than a primary psychiatric disorder.

    • @dodgdurango6128
      @dodgdurango6128 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      It’s technically a circadian rhythms disorder. which affects your mood. While it may not be sleep itself, it is a sleep driven illness.

      As someone that suffers from bipolar disorder I sleep way too much when I am depressed like 12-14hrs and like maybe 5 or 6 when im on ghe other end of the spectrum but I can still function. Its really unpleasant not being able to sleep normally and the seasons affect me really badly. I wouldnt say its because of sleep deprivation though. The shifts cause sleep issues which only further the issues. Getting enough sleep alone doesn't make it go away.

    Maybe you should learn how to control yourself in public. Maybe you should learn how to control yourself and not be a burden to your family. Maybe you should control yourself and others around you will be much happier. I don’t buy it

      You’re more selfish yourself if you think a bipolar person can do so out of sheer willpower. It’s like telling a schizophrenic the same thing
