Hi Graeme was that you in the video? The ares looked very nice and warm. Was that in South Sftica?
Recently I bought the Huawei p50pro smartphone with its daul matrix camera and they look profesional and so stylish but not tried phone for astrophotography. I'll wait till the dark n8ghts are back then test it out.
Just wondering how dark is the area? No street lights. I'd take my Huawei P50pro there and shoot the milky way.
Africa would be a nice place to visit on holiday. The southern stars would be great.

Yep, back in 2009 I went to Kenya and Tanzania. Africa is DARK once you are out of the city, I wish I had done more Astrophotography when i was there but night security had limited english and didn't understand "Please turn your light off I'm trying to image the night sky". LOL.
