    Great job. I'm working on a Tamiya Skyline GT-R R32 and converted the kit from male fitment to female, using a very similar technique. I drilled out the brakes as you did, but rather than leave them open I put a disc of styrene behind the brakes with the styrene rod centered in the hole.

    I know you haven't posted a video in a while, but were can I see finished models that you made? love the unboxing vids really helps me figure out if I want to spend on some of these kits. Could you start back up?

      +ELP Modelling Front wheels that were coverted will be able to turn right and left as freely as they were stock ones on unmodified brakes?

    Can i color it in any color i want? I would like to have it yellow, because thats my favorite color, but red (as it was factory and most used color on mk4) would be also awesome

    I am going to get a Tamiya Supra model and modify for a hobby in the summer, can I get any 1:24 scale wheel brands or do they have to be for Tamiya

      also is it possible to add body kits and spoilers?

    • @kylesagun156
      @kylesagun156 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Many brands that sell wheels just a quick google search shall do, and same with spoilers and body kits. The body kits are pricey, a lot more than the kits usually

    How about a video of the opposite, male to female? I've done it, it's also easy, but the trick is cutting the tube flat and not angled. That's where my problem lies because after cutting and sanding 4 pieces and standing them side by side theres always something crooked.

    • @ELPModelling
      @ELPModelling  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      ThisNamesNowTaken Thats a good idea, I have an idea on how to do it without any drama. I'll have a play and get a video up at some point :)
