I'm sure that SD Card won't last longer, because the manufacturer typically don't show the how much the TBW (TeraBytes Written), and it's because they knew that SD Card has low TBW that they ashamed to put on their website or datasheet.

Its too slow speed solution. 75bm/s
can i use this external ssd using an adapter for my macbook air m2
I'm sure that SD Card won't last longer, because the manufacturer typically don't show the how much the TBW (TeraBytes Written), and it's because they knew that SD Card has low TBW that they ashamed to put on their website or datasheet.
Using it for 2 years now 🤠Never had any issue
That depends on controller quality, and how many random I/O you do. (I would use Samsung or Sandisk variant of that if it is available, since their controllers are most likely to last longer. e.g. "High-endurance" SD cards or SD cards for "Dashcams")
If you are just copying photos/videos time to time, (i.e. storage used rarely) this might be ok.

M3 max için uygun mu?
Evet
that is. super slow speed
yes, it's slow but fast enough for opening photos, watching videos, or just keeping large files :)
excelente discrição
Low read and write speeds...
low compared to internal SSD but ok to keep and store large files like photo libraries :)
it is a m3 pro
Is it a similar speed when playing back movies or music to a spinning HDD?
Yes, speed is ok for watching movies or open files etc. btw i made speed test video: Mac Internal SSD vs T7 SSD vs HDD vs SD Card - Speed Test. How to Choose External Storage

Does it work with m3 mackbook pro?
yes
Why can't you use an SD card, much cheaper?
The SD card will take out from the case of the MacBook. the idea of this one is that it stays flush and almost invisible
@@ArthurBrassart with my card reader, the SD card is flush, but I guess Apple doesn't want you to use cheap storage, they would like you to pay them hundreds of dollars
So it’s an SD card
Yea a really slow sd card

thank you! (Y)
😇👍🙏
Disappointed because of speed
Iam still using it to store my old videos and libraries but not for editing 4K videos- its too slow :) this was the purpose of buying it. Use internal storage for projects and SD card just to keep files.

too slow and too expensive😢
I would rather spec the laptop with a bigger ssd than jamming something alamost permamently in the slow SD slot
Well i think you are right. Generally speaking it is better to invest more while configuring your MacBook and make it future-proof. But for someone +650$ is a huge amount of money 💰 You know people want to save money. This solution if for people who already got their MacBooks and want to add storage. All in all its a good and cheap solution. But yes it’s slow comparing to internal SSD. For file and data storage more then enough 😺
if ur buying a new Mac in 24 you have more money than sense...
