    I tore my acl in December had surgery the first day of February and I’ve returned to no contact rugby and haven’t retore it. The point is to be careful you can return to no contact early it depends on knee strength and stability after/what sport you play/ and how careful you are with where you play and how consistent you play

    What sort of rehab exercises would you recommend for getting back into cricket? Just had my ACL reconstruction last week and am looking to get back early next year at around the 8.5 - 9 month mark

    Sir,
    If i started at 5 and half months playing team sport non-contact and I passed the tests and I'm mentally too ready to play does it worth to return at 6 to 7 months to
    contact sport?

    • @ClinicalPhysio
      @ClinicalPhysio  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Seemingly it’s better to wait! That’s what the aim of this research was… even people who had passed the relevant testing but still returned to sport earlier had these issues. I cannot comment on your situation specifically, but this is the viewpoint of the research

      Thank you for your answer sir, and I have one more question does the quad and isometrics training improving your chances to do not re-injur your knee again.
      Im will be very glad if you can answer this question! Thank you btw

    • @ClinicalPhysio
      @ClinicalPhysio  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@kran2226 Any quads strengthening will always contribute to improvements and reduce the risk of re-injury (as long as it is not overloading). But of course it has to be done with all the other factors as well (proprioception, gout strength, hamstring strength etc)
