I started using psyllium husk my self In order to try and remove old rubberized waste from my intestines called muciod plaque . I was mixing a tablespoon spoon of it with orange juice 1 to 3 times a day and let me tell you it freaking works. so I started giving my dogs psyllium with water so basically the gel like substance and then I would add in pieces of chicken or ham . I would replace one of their daily meals with it about every other day . well within 2 months my 2 dog that were overweight and had big round bellies are much lighter and actually look thin and not all bloated and their energy level is way up . and when they poop you can see that they have the same rubberized waste that's been stuck in them as well . this is were the parasites live in this old nasty poop. think about it if your not eliminating what you are taking in then this food has to go somewhere. one of my dogs has almost fixed his paws liking and scratching from doing this . psyllium is amazing and nobody knows about it.

I stopped using is consistently as I also rotate between flax seed for fiber as well. However I still use it when my dog shows sign of constipation and it has worked well every time.
