Attempted murder in the pond! Blue heron attacks fish in koi pond. Rick Griggs 'Saved by the net.'

Caught in the act! Finally, an explanation for missing koi fish in Rick's backyard pond. On camera, the blue heron waits...and waits...and finally strikes. Would Betty Boop survive? Little did that nasty heron know that there was plant netting in that part of the water.
The netting 'protected' Betty Boop from the jaws of death...or did it? The blue heron flew away frustrated but the fish was injured and only lasted 3-4 days before dying.
