Great stuff.. Liking your vids.
I really enjoy looking at other peoples ponds and fish. I have 4 koi ponds and a fish room with multiple tanks. My ponds are surrounded by decking and trees. If you would like to view them that's great. If not that's ok too.

Mate check out sum heron attacks on ponds. They prity much laugh at that line idea and just stand on it. Plus I think a heron would be tall enough to stand beside your pond and stick it’s head through the line. Honestly don’t think that line will save your fish mate. Have a further look, I have acrylic running round the edge stops the fish jumping out and heron landing on or poking there head over. All the best

Would you ever consider keeping coarse fish in your pond ? Roach , Bream , Tench, Gudgeon , just for giggles. Maybe grow a monster.

I had thought about it to be honest but the only problem is have is some of the pond treatments I use might kill them but I'd love to have them all

With a small fenced I was able to string fishing lines above and across the fence. This is to prevent herons from landing but I think it also deters some small birds.

Brilliant, hopefully it helps until I get a roof on. It's a bonus keeping other birds away because I get pigeons coming to drink from the pond and they carry parasites
