This has literally parked across the road from I work in Hatfield. Instantly recognised it as one of your fine pieces of work..... plus bloody huge great Darkside Developments Sticker on the back window which helped!!!!! 😂😂😂😂
You should speak to Ray from Rayvern Hydraulics. He did a body dropped Amarock on bags and hydros with the sills touching the ground but it could be raised back to original height still.
Mental that little blue bar can make all that difference! I just think they need a g wagon style side exit pipe, trucks just don't look right with an exhaust out the back!
@@DarksideDevelopments I'm just about to collect a 3.2 ranger this week, might have a shop about for an anti roll bar for that, chances are it may have a bit of weight in the back from time to time, ie building materials. Wanted a car, needed a van, trucks a compromise, I would like to corner a little flatter! Edit: might add a few little personal touches to it, shame we can't get the stuff here they can in other places around the globe, like the rgb mustang lights and things, or we might be able to and I just haven't looked hard enough, first port of call is the remap and Air filter I think.
I really want you to do a max horse power full countryside jacked up big wheel Mt tyre full tow capacity version. It's the only thing you cannot get in the UK unlike America or Australia. Anything for uk farming pickup market and towing is 150-200bhp and usually under power in reality.
@@DarksideDevelopments cool can't wait to see what you guys do to it, it's definitely something you guys should look into for all up pickups. L200 dmax ranger are all under power for today's market, unless your getting a 3lt merc or vw it's rubbish. Well unless you've won lottery and have a new land rover
@@DarksideDevelopments I've driven mates new defender and it was amazing, but I didn't tow. I'd buy the big diesel engine one tomorrow if it wasn't 60k. The navara has always been poor to average
Interested in seeing the lift kit and what height range is achievable. I wouldn’t want it monster truck height, but a bit more usable ground clearance when off road would be 👍🏻
dude I have an amarok 2L TDI but find it hard and shaky, no comfort driving and every body get tired in there after 2h trip max.... I know I had to buy an SUV, but now its done! I'll stick with it as it fits me the open big cargo bed... I'm electrician so this is also my commercial and my family vehicle . I don't carry heavy loads max 500kg very rare. I drive it 90% on road and I do not enjoy off roading. Sometimes driving on beach sand about 6-700m until finding a spot for swimming. That's all its use! So I need a soft suspension compensating ride for smooth comfort trips. I know solid back axles are not so comfort by mechanical nature, but I want to make as comfort and soft as it gets. Do you have some suspension kit to sugest me? Thanks.
All of the suspension options we have will be similar or firmer than factory. You could try removing the rear leaf spring helps and see if this suits you better
This 7t conversion? Thats train weight? So 3.5t trailer? So you can you end up with the vehicle weight as 3.5t gross? So 1t load approx? The vehicle isn’t going to be 2.5t even if antiroll bars etc add weight is it? More details please or remind me which video i need to rewatch.

@@DarksideDevelopments looks close at 3min 29 before the car is back on the ground, then at 4min 16 looks to be pressing hard against it. I wondered if it got missed in the install and would clear the stock system.
Any body going to question how can people afford these parts ??? Let alone install them. Oh wait this is for very wealthy people only club. Remember folks. Emergency car repair bills will make an average person instantly homeless. But not these guys lmao.
Amaroks are actually really good to drive, even when stock. I alwayd get a big smile on my face when driving one.
Agreed, their manuals are really satisfying to drive
Keith's Amarok looks clean, job well done 👍

It stands out a bit!
@@DarksideDevelopments definitely, looked the business.
We ain’t to far from ya possibly
If you measure from the centre of the wheel instead of the floor it takes the discrepancy of different wheel sizes out of the job
"slamarok" oh no no no ....but scene as it you good folk, fair enough. It brought a smile I have to admit.
Very nice kits and look forward to seeing the results 👍
Takes a special chap to buy an AWD pickup then decides to slam it.
Unless you own a 2wd amarok

Lovely looking Amarok! ❤️
Looks good lads!! Keep up the hard work!!!👍🏻👍🏻
I can't be the only one that giggled like a child at 'Slamarok' 🤣
Dark side and Banks uploads in the same week, don’t get much better.
Mmmmm slamrok 😍😍😍😍 making me one one as a tow rig

Might go side pooper on our truck. Rear ARB on leaf springs is always a huge improvement. My old MK2 caddy was good

Correct, look at my last and next Amarok video in the playlists
What are those rims? Looks so good.
Some Range rover items!
Nice play on words there 😜
Could one have a kit with both worlds? Airkit that can lower the car from black car to white car ?
need hydraulics for that amount of lift
Would you recommend Bilstein coilovers for the Golf Mk4? And what lowering range is best for daily driveability?
Loving the videos 👍🏻
Yes, b16 if you can afford!
When is the BMW 125d being shown again? Want to know the bhp you got after that map
Soon, its not the best update...

Perfectly good 4x4 slammed 😝 🙈 but I guess you pays ya money 😆
what do you have to do for the 7 ton conversion? may book in with yourselves to get mine done
Video soon
7 what now? Please explain, I am interested in a towing vehicle.
7T GTW conversion. 3.5T truck and 3.5T towing capacity
Do you do a lowering kit for the nissan nivara
I'm afraid we don't, sorry!
Hi mate I’m looking at investing in a v6 amarok how much would you be looking for a package deal like this engine mods everything?
Custom work isn't cheap.
You would be best getting on the website checking price's and then account for labour and you will get a rough idea.
Engine mods to 400hp are usually about 8k Inc VAT.
Invest? Sounds like quite the opposite of an investment 🤣
Nice work. There’s only one true slamarok though, Rayvern’s
like it el camino style
does the 7ton conversion refer to the maximum train weight ?
Yes, Blog and video coming soon!
Yes MTW = 7000kg
is it necessary to cut the chassis?
If it was any lower, yes
Have you ever done anything with wolf 4x4 ( delta 4x4 ) suspension ?
Nope?
Do you have a full spec sheet of everything on this amarok?
Not got the car spec but suspension here - www.darksidedevelopments.co.uk/Blog/vw-amarok-suspension-guide/
Engine here - www.darksidedevelopments.co.uk/vw-amarok-ddxc-3-0-24v-cr-szz-zf-8hp-8-speed-automatic/
How do the drive-line joints go at high speed with the changes in angle and increased torque?
They are better than stock angles really!
White how many cm ?
100mm +
The rear anti roll bar is hitting the exhaust?
Not here

The links were disconnected IIRC for this video as it wasn't finished. Filmed this month's ago!
It will clear stock system easily!
Look like the discs are on the wrong sides
Bag the rears ...
Blaaaah you gotta lose the goofy running boards..... and maybe the decorative roll bar.
If I won the lottery, I wouldn’t buy a lambo, I’d buy a tricked out amarok
Класс!
I don’t get it, if ya wanted a big off roader why make it useless at its party trick 🤔 suppose it’s different 😉 good vid nevertheless 👍
Company cars, it's this or a T5 if you want a VW
Like T5’s but a bit strong money for me however my company vehicle was £800k ish has 3 axles and good reach 😉 does about 2 mpg as well .
Sounds like a crane
🤣 close 😉 made by Rosenbauer on a Volvo FM 9 red in colour with some flashing blue lights on 😆
