    Notice how you have the ARB set at it stiffest setting just like I have mine , just so you can feel it doing anything .. the arms are so long and flexible they barely do anything to level out the roll .. it is a poor match for the stock 3+2 HD leafs ... maybe designed for the 2+1 comfort springs ...waste of money ... and the front ARB in the front is already too stiff for the front causing that classic Amarok front shimmy ... spending money on these bars only to find its complete bull and build quality isn’t even as good as the factory stuff is so painful ! But at least you proved that the rear bar doesn’t render the rear exhaust hang point useless .. cheers👍

      I think you do notice the difference but it could be 2 x thicker. Front one helps a bit IMO

    hiya darkside, i was thinking about one of these for my amarok, great video. i noticed you have your rear arb fitted down where superpro suggest fitting it up the other way round to yours? what difference does it make having the central bend pointing down instead of up? cheers, pete

    Is there anything you can do for the 2.0 to take towing from 3.2 to 3.5? Or is it just something for the proper amaroks🥲 cheers lads👍🏾 oh do you have them centre DS caps on wheels on your shop?

    Whats the difference between installing this sway bar and putting more pressure to the rear suspension support?

    • @DarrylKirby
      @DarrylKirby 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I believe it's all about the link between the sides, as depression happens one side it pulls down on the other side giving a flatter ride. /educatedguesswork

    • @DarksideDevelopments
      @DarksideDevelopments  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Both will do similar jobs in corners really but the rollbar won't do anything going straight but the bags will!

      @@DarrylKirby For single wheel suspension you are right. But the Amarok has a solid axle. So the Wheels are connected anyway and the bags are limiting the movement, when pumped up.....

  • @paulron3563

    What actual wheel alignment specs did you finish with
    The Amaroks can be difficult to wheel align due to tyres scrubbing out on outsides

    • @DarksideDevelopments
      @DarksideDevelopments  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      .5 negative camber and a tiny bit of toe in but it needs more!

    • @paulron3563

      @@DarksideDevelopments specs mention to put 45kgs in both front seats when doing wheel alignment. Total toe 1.2mm.
      In Australia we have more caster on left side doe to roads and a little less camber on right to it drive straight.

    • @DarksideDevelopments
      @DarksideDevelopments  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Interesting. I'm going to try a bit more toe in so it drives a little straighter and play with the castor!

  • @Paul_VanGo
    @Paul_VanGo 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    I really doubt the adjustability on the rear ARB has any effect, when the arms itself is over half a meter long! 😂. The extra holes are possibly only there, because it says so in the blurb.
    The front one though...
    That is a serious one!

      A canopy on the back would sort out any weight issue imo. Drove a 3.0 v6 with a decent map (not sure which), some 285/60r18's and a canopy on the back and once i'd gotten used to the truck i was hooning it on back roads (Not in the UK before the fun police start lmao) and it felt like night and day compared to a very similar setup truck without the canopy... Felt fairly planted and i never felt like i was going to lose control.
