As a foster, it's always heart breaking to lose babies. This happens a lot with inbreeding. I've been doing this for 10 years, seen it a lot and it always breaks me
I'm so sorry. We lost a bottle fed kitten that we raised (at 10 weeks, we had just decided to keep him) its one of the hardest things I've ever been through. You never forget the ones you lost, but I always try to picture them at the Rainbow Bridge 🌈
I had the same thing happen. Tiny little runt of a thing. He was absolutely precious, but he had a blood sugar crash and we got to him too late. The vet tried, but he just never woke up. So very sad. 🌈
It’s always heartbreaking to lose puppies. We had a rescue that we adopted and didn’t know she was pregnant. She had terrible shelter shock. We were feeding her boiled chicken, broccoli and rice because she wouldn’t eat anything. Two different vets said she had a false pregnancy. When she gave birth to 9 puppies we lost 4. We think that her lack of nutrition before us and the severe anxiety and shelter shock she had contributed to their still births.
@@stephaniebarrett6921 I can honestly say that both of my vets I use are wonderful. They both said they could do X-rays but that it could traumatize her more( when I say severe shelter shock I’m not kidding) it took her 3 days to poop. So we decided against an X-ray but I knew she was pregnant so we continued to feed her home cooked food. She was a wonderful momma dog. The five that survived all grew big and strong.
I’m so sorry Joey 💔 I tried saving 2 baby kittens and they died in my hands. Had to burry them myself. I was devastated. Please know it’s not your fault. You’ve done everything you could.
I am so sorry Goldie, Lily and Daphne passed away Joey, I can't begin to imagine the pain that rushed through your mind as Goldie was in your arms as she passed away along with her sisters who passed away from the same symptoms too. I wish I had kept up to date on you and the pups. RIP Goldie, Lily and Daphne, hopefully your all in Gods hands and kingdom now 💙🙏
It’s hard being the one to watch them struggle as they pass away, but also such a privilege to be their source of comfort in helping them make that transition from this life to the next. Praying comfort for you Joey at this sad time x
I'm so sorry that you had to deal with such an uncaring veterinarian the first time you took her to get help. You did your best to get the precious fur babies some much needed medical help. Sending you some positive energy and prayers.🙏❤️
Oh my goodness those cries were heart wrenching. Poor mama was trying so hard and just didn’t know how to help. The longer you foster the more you start to see that not all of those puppies make it, when they’re young like that they can take a turn so quickly. A lot of people won’t even try with the vet when puppies that young have problems so it shows how much love they knew when you not only tried but kept trying after all that happened with the vets. I imagine their deaths were about as peaceful as they could have been because of that. On behalf of all the shelter dogs I’ve worked with who have gone without treatment in previous homes, thank you so much for trying so hard to help them. I really believe that they can feel you’re trying even if they don’t understand how.
You're such a good foster daddy, Joey. You knew something was wrong and you weren't going to stop until you exhausted every route trying to save those little babies. It will always hurt that they passed, but they passed having someone there that loved them so immensely and not alone on the street. Give good snuggles to those little boy puppers, and keep your head and heart up ❤️
Definitely sounds like congenital fading puppy syndrome. Almost textbook presentation. They start out strong and just suddenly take a turn. Unfortunately it’s always fatal. :( And with pups that little you almost have to know they are sick before they show symptoms to be able to get them the medical care they need. Poor things.
I had a neo natal orphaned puppy and she was doing really good for first 5 days and then 6th morning she started to gasp for air similar to this sweet girl and she passed away within 20 mins i didn't even have time to reach to the vet. These are always soo devastating watching them go away and you can just watch them go and do nothing. Fly high ❤️
From one foster to another, I'm so sorry for your loss. You did everything you could. You did nothing wrong. I've been through something very similar with a litter of kittens. All three passed away one after another, likely from congenital issues as they were born from a very inbred mom. The first died within a day, second within a couple weeks, and the third a week or two after the second. Each displayed fading kitten syndrome symptoms, it was sudden, and even doing everything we could they passed away. You did everything you could and gave them a good life for as long as their bodies could hold out. Thank you for fostering and sharing your experiences with us--even the difficult ones. Take time to grieve and give the remaining babies and momma Daisy lots of love ❤ You're doing an amazing thing and you've changed so many lives.
Joey I am so sorry you went thru this. And the lack of empathy you were shown really makes my heart ache even more for you. Sending you much love & hugs dear heart. You are a one of kind, don't ever change.
I can’t even watch so I have no idea what it was like to live it. You’re such a blessing to all the animals you’ve fostered. Thank you for loving animals.
You’ve saved so many mommas and babies Joey. My heart breaks seeing you like this. Please don’t ever give up on your calling to help these little souls. God bless you
I'm so sorry you had to go through this feeling so helpless. You did everything in your power to help those sweet puppies. Just because all 3 girls had the same symptoms I feel like it must be something genetic and I don't think you could've done anything to prevent this from happening. I hope Daisy and the boys are doing good, and I want to thank you for everything you do for these sweet dogs.
I think so too that it might be something genetic since only the girls had the exact same symptoms. I feel so sorry Joey had to go through this but you did everything you could and even more!
I’m so sorry, Joey! I have two male dogs who as soon as they heard Goldy crying, they started to act up like something wasn’t right. They got super nervous and kept trying to get at my phone. You did everything you could for those babies ❤️
I'm sorry that you had to go through something this difficult. We lost several puppies a few years ago that had similar symptoms as your puppies and it was Parvo. Parvo it's very contagious and that could explain why the other puppies might of gotten sick. Nonetheless, you are an amazing person who has made such a huge impact on your pets' lives. We wish you the best!
@@JoeyGraceffa someone else in the comments said it might be a genetic disease that got passed on .. being that only the female puppies passed. Maybe that’s a theory. Sending lots of love and light 💗
So sorry for your loss of the girl puppies. You did everything you could, don't accept any blame from others or yourself. You have such a big heart for all the animals. You deserve nothing but big hugs from everyone for trying your best to help them.
U will want to watch the kitten lady Joey. She doesn't just foster kittens, she fosters puppies too. You could learn alot from her. She knows alot about diseases and how to treat them and the best chance for them to pull through. And some have trouble eating from the start too so she shows techniques and stuff on how to care for them
This was so hard to watch I can’t imagine what you felt going through that and watching them struggle, just heartbroken for you. I am glad you shared even these hard moments with your audience, it’s the reality and so hard to foster and love these babies and sometimes you lose them. You did everything you could and it’s so hard to see you go through this. Just want to say you are an amazing foster and advocate for your pups.
Joey, you’re saving more dogs than you think. It’s the force of nature that took action. Not you or mama dog. You gave 7 dogs a higher chance on a quality of life that they would not have had. Remember that and get better soon!!!!
Joey I’m so sorry this happened. I remember you talking about something similar to this when you were younger in a past video and how much it affected you. I just hope you know how many puppies and dogs you’ve helped since you started fostering and that this doesn’t stop you from helping other pups and dogs in need in the future. There are so many dogs that deserve the love and necessities that you provide to them, and I hope you know that even in the short amount of time that you’ve had them, you did give them such a good welcoming to this world with so much love during the time they were here. Thinking of you, it’s always hard losing a pet or pets in your care.
Definitely sounds like something genetic if it was only the girls. I'm so sorry you had to go through that 😞 It's an unfortunate downside of what you are doing but please remember why you are doing it and how much good you've done already 💖
I am sending you some warm hugs Joey ♥️🌹 some things just aren’t in our control. Those puppies are so lucky that they had your warm loving & caring touch in the last minutes of their lives. It must be so hard to have to voice what’s going on to us on camera, just know that we support you! Please take care of yourself & mental health too. Think about what’s best for you ✨❤️🐾 We all love you and support you!
I’m so sorry, I can’t imagine going through something like that, it was heartbreaking to watch just the short clips in this video and all admit I had to skip over some because it was too hard to watch little Goldie suffer. You did everything you could do and they were lucky to have your love to guide them home
Joey, I’m genuinely sorry. The cries the puppy made just made my heart break. Thank you though, for taking care of them and please know you did all you could. You are strong and I know you will do good by the rest of the puppies as you have. Take as much time as you need.
May Goldie, Lily and Daphne rest in peace, they were already so young but gone, and the feeling of her in your arms hurts my soul. I hope your okay after that Joey. ❤️🩹 Stay happy after this, and continue doing what will make you smile.
Sounds like fading puppy syndrome. It usually happens within the first week of life but basically they fail to latch and have “seagull” like cries. Also can be congenital or due to infection.
I am so sorry this happened. Trust that you did everything you could for these girls. You are an amazing person. Sometimes vets let us down. It's the worst. Take care ❤️
You did everything you could for her. What bothered me was how the vets could watch how that baby was struggling to breathe, and say "oh, she's OK, we have time". I'm sorry you had to go through that, it's so traumatizing💔
One time my cat was trying to bite his tongue off after they gave him meds I didn’t agree to and they said he was fine. Took him to a shelter I use to volunteer for and they take him right away because he was having an allergic reaction. I have never seen a vet actually care about an animal. Shelters have been such a life saver for me when I use to foster.
I had an older dog who was over powered by 2 younger vicious dogs. I called my vet and said I was bringing in an emergency . An older dog bleeding badly after fight. They had me lay her in corner while they went on with their morning staff meeting. Needless to say she died. Lost all respect for their animal concern.
@@soldiermom7352 I can't even imagine how that felt and all the emotions.. 😭 I'm so sorry that you had to go through something that traumatizing and to make you sit in a corner while they had a "meeting" makes me sick! If I ever saw animal come in like that I'd be immediately taking it and doing everything in my power to help 💙
@@soldiermom7352 I'm so so sorry for your sad and inexcusable experience. The loss of your poor pup might have been prevented. Vet's should be held accountable just like people Doctors.
I’m so devastated to hear this. You are insanely strong going through this and I know that these things happen. Maybe, when you name the boys for flowers, you can name the boys memorial flowers like poppy, forget me not and something else. Once again, you’re going to get through this. If u feel rock bottom, just know, you can only go up!
Dear Joey, I am so sorry for what happened. It was so heartbreaking to find out about those gorgeous babies. On another note, have you ever thought about learning how to tube feed the babies? It doesn't affect their breathing, if they're already having problems with that, and it'll keep them from choking on their formula. I truly believe that you would be successful with it. I've heard that there are vets/professionals who are willing to teach people how to do that. Good Luck and may the Goddess be with you in all things. Take care.
This broke my heart. You’re a very strong and empathetic person to take on these animals and show them such love and care. I can’t imagine how difficult it must be even when everything goes right. My condolences.
I’m so sorry Joey, just know you did everything in your power to help them and you made them as comfortable as possible in the short lives they did have 💕 Take the time to mourn, don’t worry about keeping us updated for now. I know this was a traumatic thing to go through but I hope it doesn’t deter you from fostering more animals because you truly have a gift for it and have saved so many animals by bringing them in. Sending you and the other pups all my love
IM SO SORRY KING JOEY! my puppies successfully arrived and were born without any deaths or harm, but I could never imagine the pain of losing one of my angels .
Wow this was so hard to watch shebwas suffering so much i cannot believe the vet said nothing was wrong we can all see it in the video that breathing isn't okay :( I'm so sorry for these losses sending you so much love ❤
I know, it's really strange, I'm sure the vet assumed that Joey was overreacting, but if you pay attention at all, you can tell that it's like the puppy couldn't get oxygen, especially evident near the end with the purple coloration. Just sad, it was an emergency scenario and the vet still made him wait hours just to tell him 'nope, nothing's wrong!'...
So heartbreaking 💔 How frustrating too that that first vet just dismissed you like that with Goldie. You did your best for the little girls and I'm sure they felt that love from you before they passed. Sending a big hug to you, and will be snuggling my 9wk old pup loads more today 💗
:( dont worry the puppies are watching you in heaven and protecting you, they are your guardian angels. as you grow, they will grow too rest in peace ❤

You never stop and you knew that puppy was sick when everyone told her she wasn’t you’re a very brave guy and you did your best be proud of yourself and love yourself and those puppies they’re in a better place
I’m so sorry Joey. I was frustrated with you. At how uncaring the vet was. I understand vets can be busy but you were genuinely concerned about her and wanted to get her help asap, the fact that they just made you wait. Ugh. I just can’t. I’m sorry Joey. I’ve had baby kittens pass after birth and it’s heartbreaking every time. You did everything you were supposed to do. Sending you so much love.
Joey I’m so sorry that happened. You tried as hard as you could for those little girls. I can understand why it took so long for this video to come, if you need to, take some time we will all still be here 🧡🧡🧡
I’m so sorry Joey you tried your best. You gave her your all. If only the vets weren’t negligent she could have been in faster and have been looked at throughly. Just remember it’s not your fault, it’s nature that took them. You did all you could. I hope the boys don’t have this happen to them. Sending love ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Unfortunately with puppies this young there isn’t much they can do. Especially with puppy fading syndrome, it’s just something they are born with that cannot be cured, only prolonging it’s death. It’s a very sad thing to have to deal with but just unfortunately happens and cannot be cured.
@@MrsMrMoney that's not necessarily true, puppies can survive with puppy fading syndrome if intervened at the right time. But I imagine it would also depend on how old they are when they start to show symptoms. The younger they are the less likely they'll survive :(
@@teadora99 only if it’s from a bacterial infection, if it’s congenital or viral, there isn’t anything they can do for them unfortunately. Since it affected only the girls, I’m guessing it was some sort of congenital issue.

This would make sense since it was all the girls, definitely some kind of genetic malfunction there that inbreeding probably caused

I am so so sorry for your lost. I had the same thing happen to me. It was really hard to get over, butu they are not suffring anymore.
Oh my goodness that’s so sad ! I’m so sorry for your loss 💔😢
I am so, so sorry for your loss🫡🫡🫡🕊️🕊️🕊️🥺🥺🥺💔💔💔🙏🙏🙏😭😭😭
Joey I'm crying my eyes out... Her little screams in the beginning... Oh my god... That broke my heart.!!
I’m crying so hard. This poor baby was clearly unable to breathe. EFF that first vet! Pure negligence.
i agree 😭😭🤧🤧😭😭
I know I can’t stand to hear them either it broke my heart but he did his best.
i have to stop watching it cause starting to cry
I’m confused was he there when the mum had them in her mouth ? Why didn’t he stop her doing that ?? How did the puppies get injured ?
It’s always heartbreaking to lose puppies. We had a rescue that we adopted and didn’t know she was pregnant. She had terrible shelter shock. We were feeding her boiled chicken, broccoli and rice because she wouldn’t eat anything. Two different vets said she had a false pregnancy. When she gave birth to 9 puppies we lost 4. We think that her lack of nutrition before us and the severe anxiety and shelter shock she had contributed to their still births.
Idk how long ago this was but Fly High Little Puppies
So sorry for your losses! I feel like the vet really let you down.. it seems like you might need to find a more compassionate vet!!
Does anyone know the names of the surviving brothers?
Awe I’m so sorry Joey… I hope the others make it. I know it’s hard. Just try and get through it!! ❤️♥️❤️💙
May we all have a moment of silence for our little princess goldey
Yesssssssss please pull through
Yeah Joey!

Yeah just do everything AmayaEster said
I’m so sorry Joey 💔 I tried saving 2 baby kittens and they died in my hands.
Does anyone know the names of the surviving brothers?
@@AsIseeitPattiDail Joey hadn't named any of the puppies before this terrible thing happened
I'm so sorry that you had to deal with such an uncaring veterinarian the first time you took her to get help. You did your best to get the precious fur babies some much needed medical help. Sending you some positive energy and prayers.🙏❤️
Yeah, why even be a vet if you don’t really want to help?
I dont understand why veterinarians are so careless towards animals sometimes, like didnt you get into this field because you love animals?? Wtf
You have inspired all of us with the love and compassion you have shown the animals you have taken into your care. You are a hero!
Give good snuggles to those little boy puppers, and keep your head and heart up ❤️
I'm sorry that happened. Stay strong and you'll make through it. Life has it's ups and downs. Love you Joey 💙
I’m so sorry for your loss
Joey, I'm so sorry you went through all of that... I'm sending you love and hugs...
Literally was going to say this this happened to my rescue childhood dog and only one puppy survived such a strange thing..
I’m confused was he there when the mum had them in her mouth ? Why didn’t he stop her doing that ?? How did the puppies get injured ?
yeah it must have been some maternal passing gene that the father must have had also and passed them on causing this. So upsetting to see :(
@@TJRJ158 thats how mothers move their babies. Many animals do that. She doesnt bite strong enough to hurt them. Thats completely normal behavior
@@TJRJ158 oh they were just moving the puppies and putting them some where else
I’m so sorry, Joey! I have two male dogs who as soon as they heard Goldy crying, they started to act up like something wasn’t right. They got super nervous and kept trying to get at my phone. You did everything you could for those babies ❤️
My lady did the same. Its an instinct I think. Its just so sad 💔
Rest in peace, Goldie, Lily, and Daphne 🕊️
You will always have a special place in our hearts ✨
I'm sorry that you had to go through something this difficult. We lost several puppies a few years ago that had similar symptoms as your puppies and it was Parvo. Parvo it's very contagious and that could explain why the other puppies might of gotten sick. Nonetheless, you are an amazing person who has made such a huge impact on your pets' lives. We wish you the best!
i thought that aswell but got them tested and its not parvo
@@JoeyGraceffa someone else in the comments said it might be a genetic disease that got passed on .. being that only the female puppies passed. Maybe that’s a theory. Sending lots of love and light 💗
@@JoeyGraceffa It could have been provoked by a canine herpesvirus. Joey, you should test the mommy. Sending lots of love and courage from Germany ♥

So sorry for your loss of the girl puppies. You did everything you could, don't accept any blame from others or yourself. You have such a big heart for all the animals. You deserve nothing but big hugs from everyone for trying your best to help them.
I'm so sorry to hear that .
U will want to watch the kitten lady Joey. She doesn't just foster kittens, she fosters puppies too. You could learn alot from her. She knows alot about diseases and how to treat them and the best chance for them to pull through. And some have trouble eating from the start too so she shows techniques and stuff on how to care for them
100% agree - I watched her when we were fostering kittens. Please look into her channel
Yes kitten lady fosters kittens, puppies, piglets! Possibly goats?
I can't believe a vet would do that. I'm so sorry for your loss 😭
I'm so sorry you had to go through that 😞 It's an unfortunate downside of what you are doing but please remember why you are doing it and how much good you've done already 💖
the fact it was only the girls makes me really think it was genetic but you did everything you could for them and I'm sure they knew that ❤
I am sending you some warm hugs Joey ♥️🌹 some things just aren’t in our control.
That makes me so angry that first vet said it was fine. Anyone could see that there was something seriously wrong.
I agree. So baffling.
it was probably the same vet that said copper from the last litter was fine even though he had parasites.
Joey, I’m genuinely sorry. The cries the puppy made just made my heart break. Thank you though, for taking care of them and please know you did all you could. You are strong and I know you will do good by the rest of the puppies as you have. Take as much time as you need.
Omg when he was crying I was also. Thats how much I love dogs. I'm sooooooooo sorry.😓😭
Presented pretty textbook spot on…. I’m thinking congenital since it seems to have only affected the girls. Poor things.
That’s exactly what I was thinking or the puppy had aspirated some of mommies milk and was getting the starts of pneumonia
@@sydneyptolemy1774 The first thing that I could think of was pneumonia, my bunny died because of this💔

Omg😣
What the!?
Spay your dog bruh
I am so sorry this happened. Trust that you did everything you could for these girls. You are an amazing person. Sometimes vets let us down. It's the worst. Take care ❤️
😭😭😭 omg poor babies, this was painful to watch, I can't even imagine how hard must've been for you. I'm sorry for your loss!
You did everything you could for her. What bothered me was how the vets could watch how that baby was struggling to breathe, and say "oh, she's OK, we have time". I'm sorry you had to go through that, it's so traumatizing💔
I don’t understand how any of the vets thought she was okay to go home with her gasping like that.
If u feel rock bottom, just know, you can only go up!
omg i crying😔😭😭 i'm so sorry that happened 😩😩
Dear Joey, I am so sorry for what happened. It was so heartbreaking to find out about those gorgeous babies. On another note, have you ever thought about learning how to tube feed the babies? It doesn't affect their breathing, if they're already having problems with that, and it'll keep them from choking on their formula. I truly believe that you would be successful with it. I've heard that there are vets/professionals who are willing to teach people how to do that.
Good Luck and may the Goddess be with you in all things. Take care.
Great suggestion!
i had no idea that was even a thing but after learning how dangerous syringe feeding is i absolutely would love to learn
God I’m so so sorry Joey. That would have been so distressing. You’re a beautiful soul. She wasn’t alone, she was loved. You gave her everything ❤️
I saw the title and was instantly in pain. I’m so so sorry Joey. I wish you the best
I'm so sorry what just happened to her. I started watching it l started to cry
This broke my heart. You’re a very strong and empathetic person to take on these animals and show them such love and care. I can’t imagine how difficult it must be even when everything goes right. My condolences.
I just started bawling the second I heard her cries in the beginning. Poor baby. RIP.
I’m so sorry Joey, just know you did everything in your power to help them and you made them as comfortable as possible in the short lives they did have 💕 Take the time to mourn, don’t worry about keeping us updated for now.
Even if it wasn't on a puppy that weak and small there isn't much that can be done. They'd put it down.
Looking at this puppy a vet should have seen what was going on! That First vet was irresponsible and shouldn’t be practicing!
With puppies this young, unfortunately there isn’t much a vet can do. Sad but true
So heartbreaking 💔 How frustrating too that that first vet just dismissed you like that with Goldie. You did your best for the little girls and I'm sure they felt that love from you before they passed. Sending a big hug to you, and will be snuggling my 9wk old pup loads more today 💗
They're in heaven now joey. They're safe. No more being in pain. No more being sick. We love you.
That veterinarian seems negligent and needs to be fired. 😤😠😭
