    Just a note of caution. If you pull the strips off to remove them....your damaging your nail bed. So that's why your nails are becoming weak. You have to soak them off. It doesn't take long and it protects your nail bed.

    Definitely noticing the difference in the way you do this versus... others. And the fact that you get longer wear time - BONUS. Plus the tip chip is my general issue so it seems worth investing in the few "extra" steps to get my desired result = fewer issues during wear time. THANKS! (bought my first DASHING DIVA glaze SEMI-CURED GEL Starter Kit a week or so ago)

    I love the pink palette and the red palette w the clear hearts! They're so cute! I love how Dashing Divas have variety of designs that nail salons can't do. The quality and durability of these nails are really good. And is also affordable as well! I started 2 nail strips from Dashing Diva and I love it! Thanks for posting your video!

    Hey girl a friend of mine threw a color atreet party, im not big on doing my nails but love the way they look. I tried and bought 4 color street steips and they rnt gel. They are amazing though! So then i heard about this hrand which is alot didferent cus its gel. So i ordered a glass file. I ordered the base coat u use to protect and i ordered 4 strips from dashing diva and also a gel top coat. Im excited to use these.
    Color street is forgiving cus u can use a bigger strips and easioy after molding to finger u can get the extra off.
    So im going to see which brand lasts longer and im hoping its dashing diva because i bought all that stuff. I had a question, if i used a gel top coat on top of color street whoch is 100 percent nailpolish, and i cure it, will it work? Or will it peel. Hoping u have some experience in this. Thank u

    • @style.fanatic
      @style.fanatic  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi! I have not tried the brand color street, but I have used something very similar to it of another brand and it should still work! The gel curing will stick on to the strip and you should be able to peel it off when you want to take it off.

      Color street is far better then the cheap dashing diva which is harder to work with.

    You need to use alcohol to remove the sticky top layer, not acetone.

    Can I use the basecoat and the topcoat together?

    • @style.fanatic
      @style.fanatic  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi! I think it's best to cure the base coat first, and then apply the top coat after to cure again. The gel polish doesn't cure unless put under the UV light.

    Do the strips shrink using the top coat

    I just came across your video and my question to you is my natural nail is very thin and weak. Do these strips actually stay on very short nails? I also have very wide nail beds do these have a large size for a wide thumb? I know you posted this about a year ago butI just recently have been considering trying these. Thank you for your video it was very informative

    • @style.fanatic
      @style.fanatic  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi Julie! These also work great in short nails, but I do suggest you put the extra layer of gel top coat to cure it. They also have a new line called glaze, which is a but thicker, but comes with Gel Finish already. The newer packs come with a larger wide strip for the thumb. Maybe you can try out one pack first and hopefully it fits!

    what if you dont cure the nails? Can just leave it as it is after sticking it on?

    • @style.fanatic
      @style.fanatic  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, it's okay but it won't last as long. If I cure with my gel polish, it usually lasts me about 2 - 3 weeks. Without it, then it will last about 1 to 2 weeks. Hope this answers your question!

    I have issues with the gel strips on the free edge of my nails kind of rolling back or scrunching up when I pull up like leggings or tights etc. or like the fabric lint with get all stuck to the edges of the strips.
    Does capping the edges with a UV gel help with that? Anyone else have this issue and know what helps?

    • @doglover1331
      @doglover1331 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I just started using these about two months ago and I’m obsessed with them. I personally have not had that issue, I prefer clipping off the excess and I find it leaves me with a smoother edge. I do feel that everyone’s body chemistry is different so the product may work differently on different people. Good luck!

    • @style.fanatic
      @style.fanatic  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Personally, I think capping the edges with UV gel helped me with roll back and helped my nail strip last longer. Or you can try the dashing diva glaze line, the nail strip are much thicker and notice it stays put more than regular nail strips!
