Hearing you say you chose the tree that was weakest made me smile, nature is our home and we should love it as we do ourselves. Also, this staff is so badass and looks legit. I mean, I can see that being used by a real druid/witch/pagan/etc which makes it that much more awesome!

  • @1guncrazy1

Combine the staff with your wizard hat; Wand; wizard pipe; hooded cloak; a spelltome(i imagine you could make a D&D tome for the Magic User like you did the Barbarian tome); your wrapped amulets; scroll case; and maybe make a belt to hang bags and pouches; and you are freaking set to cosplay just about any Magic User
And maybe your wrist guards and shin guards. Magic User needs SOME armor

I’ve watched loads of your videos but this has been my favourite of your builds because of how natural the end result is!!

Here's something I learned carving sticks when I was younger. Sticks and thin wood tend to split as they dry out if they aren't left in a controlled environtment. If I'm going to carve a stick I usually let it cure for a couple summers first. Granted that's a long time. Also the bark usually tends to dry up and fall off pretty quickly and I haven't found a real way to avoid that.

How about something for a gentleman rogue. Like a king with a bird skull motif at the top. The birds skull beak could be curved in such a way so that it could be used as a war pick. Add a telescoping section that could be un-threaded to give it more length at the bottom. I think that would be pretty cool.

The greenish look is called bronzing. It kills me when it happens to me. But the cool thing is you take rubbing alcohol to it and it takes it off. Also it will lighten the pigment. Be careful! Add oils to the leather to keep it from drying out.

Tried the glowmania paint you used. You must have gotten lucky. The red I got doesn’t glow at all and the blue glows green. I have reached out to glowmania. Additionally the red paint dried white, even two days later.
Maybe I got a bad patch of paint, will see what glomania says, but I would recommend folks do a ‘test paint’ on scrap wood to see how it comes out.

Okay you did everything correctly but when you got to the point of the crystal being put on the end if you know anything about the science of how quartz crystals discharge then you will understand that you need two quarts crystals instead of one so that energy from the crystal can be extracted and create the magic if you don't believe what I'm saying to you then try it for yourself take two quartz crystals and rub them together and that extracts the electromagnetic energy that they have built up from the Earth's electromagnetic spectrum you'll actually see burst of energy coming from them
