As a occult practitioner I tell you that as much work you put into your magical props they have a part of your spirit in them. Sounds whacky I know but when you work hard and with dedication on an item you empower it now you just need to present them to the elements and ask that they be imbued with their energies. It's really that simple. (Obviously it's a little more in-depth.) Again hopefully that bit of occult knowledge doesn't freak anyone out lol
Plot twist the legendary mage who gave her life to defeat the dark one is the war mage's great grandmother and he has reforged her wand to put a stop to his former friend the Corrupted Druid
Until watching this video I was determined to make some of my own wands out of only natural materials….. good sir you have changed me 😁 The way you incorporate the UV resin with the piece of wood from your garden is so inspiring!! Let the imperfections become the character!! Awesome videos as always, slowly making my way through your catalogue!
further idea. Drill a hole into the base and down the length of the shaft. When you're pouring resin, fill it all except the handle. There, put one of the balloon-lights from your potion build and cover it with saran wrap. Then, when it's all cured, it will create a pathway for the light to travel the entire wand. You can strap the balloon light into place in the handle with a small leather strap. On-off at will, and your center piece will absolutely light up, as well as that tip. And still glow with magic at night. To cure the inside, you may either need to completely split it (not ideal I know but if done right would add more "explosion" character), use a different resin for the channels that's clear (probably the best bet so as to not loose light in the color), or figure out how to get UV to penetrate the length (no clue). Really fun build.
The electrician in me wants to hollow out the wand handle, slip a white LED into the main resin block, add a thumb button, some LiPo batteries... you know.
Itching to try this, it looks more doable to me than using a lathe, especially since I don't own a lathe. Or a bandsaw, but I do have a jigsaw and belt sander! It's nice to see someone making the things I would like to make, using tools I have.
That wand is AMAZING. And it glows. Again love the enthusiasm of what it is made of u make wood and resin and leather and wire sound like the best thing in the world 😁👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻. Your imagination is amazing u make up a story for everything and sounds like a real fantasy story
This is so dope! Alternativly, you can turn thing thing (in process of making it ofc) into an aquatic wand, with light blue resin and some seashells in the resin part :D
Thank you for the video! Is it possible to get a list of tools, or products you used for your projects in the description or comments? The video was very informative, but I think that would be a very useful addition! Thank you for the in depth instruction!
Have you ever thought of inlaying an led bulb before the resin? You could set the + for your palm and the - for a location fir your index finger to activate
Now I want to make one like it! Great project, so many cool techniques (especially the UV resin which I have quite a bit standing around, but never thought of in this context!). Thanks for sharing!
I made a little wand when I got into Harry Potter that I later burned it using my Zippo the lore behind it is that I carved it as a training wand to help me learn magic but now it's burned out you could use it to cast spells but would most likely blow up and is put on display for the memory and my days as a novice mage.
I love the wand. I think I got some details mixed up. What made The wand legendary. I guess what I'm saying is which part of that build was the wand and which part was the repair of the wand?
Beautiful work, as always. The fracture and repair is a great idea, however, the break looks noticeably artificial. Instead of using a saw to make the pre-cuts, maybe try using a knife. The shorter cutting contact patch will have you reposition more often and cause a more jagged line while still giving the clean fracture you want.
It would be awesome if you forged a sword that will burst into flames at the push of a button🔥🔥🔥🔥 maybe you could take a look at the flaming wand and its mechanism
The only one thing i would of liked you to of added to this is some form of LED light/s to really make the resin pop.... how you could of did that i have no idea lol but i guess thats advanced class
You should do War Mage robes War Mage spellbook and War Mage shield cus I'm imaging the War Mage walking onto the battlefield with a wand and shield casting lighting and shield spells
I've never done it with wood but I have buried LED's inside resin with the wires coming out the end to make a fish tank decoration that could light up. I don't see why you couldn't fit it onto a wand or staff or something...
Brooo, thaw and dry your wood BEFORE you work it, or you can crack it like a mofo Edit: my apologies bro. Im impatient and quick to point things out, and see why you did that (you know, right after you pointed it out).
🤣🤣🤣 you are, of course, 100% correct and I thank you for letting me know in a nice way. A lot of people in the comments section might have been mean about it. I hope you liked the build!
When it comes to your Glowy stuff, don't waste time letting the sun do it over hours when your UV light will do the same thing in less than a minute. That want looks Bitchin though.

As a wand maker, I am incredibly impressed with your wand. The resin was a very good idea.
It also would be a cool long term project to make wands for all types of magical damage in DnD. You already have fire and lightning ones
You are READING MY MIND! I think you will like some stuff coming up 🤫
For sure this is a grate 🔥💯 💡 idea
@@SkillTree idk much about DND, but an "acid" damaged wand would be neat, especially if it's got real acid burns (assuming that can be done safely)
Plot twist the legendary mage who gave her life to defeat the dark one is the war mage's great grandmother and he has reforged her wand to put a stop to his former friend the Corrupted Druid
These videos are why the internet was invented! Top notch, good sir!
Okay that wand is freaking amazing! I've always been more partial to Fel Green, like from World of Warcraft. But that arcane blue is amazing!
Magic mirror tricks! Will have to try that.
You're so enthusiastic that it makes me feel like I can make anything XD
You absolutely can!
Until watching this video I was determined to make some of my own wands out of only natural materials….. good sir you have changed me 😁

You always get soooooo excited when you build something new. It's what draws me back.
The electrician in me wants to hollow out the wand handle, slip a white LED into the main resin block, add a thumb button, some LiPo batteries... you know.
That's a DOPE idea. Love that.
Kind of needed your goofiness today dude. Thanks.
Always happy to help!😁
That came out beautifully!
Itching to try this, it looks more doable to me than using a lathe, especially since I don't own a lathe. Or a bandsaw, but I do have a jigsaw and belt sander! It's nice to see someone making the things I would like to make, using tools I have.
Glad you enjoyed it! I hope you give it a shot!
@@SkillTree I had a lot of fun doing this a while back. I'm getting ready to do this again.
Now you need a wizard staff and a wizard cepter.
Omg, back story is awesome! this mage would be an awesome larp character.
That is Fantastic looking!
This is like Narcil as a wand. It was broken and then rebuilt with some sort of powerful magic. It's even wielded by a rogue wanderer
Still waiting for a cod piece tutorial! It would be hot and fun (just an idea… a great one… you should totally make it a video)
It's looks absolutely BEAU-TI-FUL!!!! Such a nice addition to your Mage
I think the War Mage should have a Raven familiar with glowing blue lightning eyes...that may or may not be a sentient biomechanical automaton...
That wand is AMAZING. And it glows.
Again love the enthusiasm of what it is made of u make wood and resin and leather and wire sound like the best thing in the world 😁👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻.

Wood workers, "That is supposed to...." Joker, It's all part of the plan."

Hey Man, beautiful project! It would be really cool if you also made a leather holster for your magic wand!
Oo! Oo! This!
Great work, Sir!
That's really, seriously, incredibly cool. Well done!
I commented that to looks like to great mind think alike 😁
Now I want to make one like it! Great project, so many cool techniques (especially the UV resin which I have quite a bit standing around, but never thought of in this context!). Thanks for sharing!
That is awsome man I might give it a shot but a bigger scale maybe a staff
That would be AMAZING!
Hey I think I'm going to make this for my sorcerer friend in dnd.
I made a little wand when I got into Harry Potter that I later burned it using my Zippo the lore behind it is that I carved it as a training wand to help me learn magic but now it's burned out you could use it to cast spells but would most likely blow up and is put on display for the memory and my days as a novice mage.
Very cool! Keep leveling up your spell casting abilities!
I really loved this
You should make dragoon scale armor and a flail like from castelvanya
I’ve never been this early. This is so badass
I am glad you liked it. I am so stoked with the final result!
These are on my to do list
AWESOME!!!
Thank you!
Yes, the mirror will work and yes, it's fucking brilliant.
That's so cooool!!!
I love it!
Sweet wand 👌🏼 I love the details
I think this is my favorite think that you make
👍👍👍👍👍👍
There would (wood) have been a lot less work if you would've sourced stick which a vine grew in it. I have several twisted sticks and a few staves.
I love the wand. I think I got some details mixed up. What made The wand legendary. I guess what I'm saying is which part of that build was the wand and which part was the repair of the wand?
you deserve way more subs
Another epic build killer wand
Would the resin stick to the wood if it was sanded smooth, or would the wood need to be rough for the resin to grip?
I totally want to try this but with LEDs inside the resin

Charge it under you UV light man! It would glow so hard
Like youre vibes😊
Yay New England!

That WOULD be awesome! I shall add it to the LIST
The only one thing i would of liked you to of added to this is some form of LED light/s to really make the resin pop.... how you could of did that i have no idea lol but i guess thats advanced class
Who would've thought wanting to LARP would teach me actual life skills?
You should do War Mage robes War Mage spellbook and War Mage shield cus I'm imaging the War Mage walking onto the battlefield with a wand and shield casting lighting and shield spells
Is the resin strong? Like if you swing it hard to cast a spell would it snap.
I love your mini belt sander what brand is it?
Hey CL3VER could you do a video on deducting and observation?
I absolutely need the pattern for that war mage hood! 😧
what was the background music for the first half of the video?
I attempted this with very minimal wood carving experience and zero resin experience. It went horribly wrong fast lol
I'm still hoping to see you make war dog barding for Oreo... She doesn't get enough screen time imo 😋
She shall be my war hound and we will go on mighty adventures!
I've never done it with wood but I have buried LED's inside resin with the wires coming out the end to make a fish tank decoration that could light up. I don't see why you couldn't fit it onto a wand or staff or something...
Wow 😊
War mage casual - sounds like a store in WoW or something...
hey, how about setting up and recording a short film, maybe a minute or two long, like a video character intro. maybe like how vox machina did theirs
Watching you while doing a physics challenge for school trying to win if I do it will be the 3rd time I win I a row
I won 2019 and 2020
What is the challenge?
Making a marble run out of paper and tape it was stupid hard and ill know if I won in a few days
Last year the challenge was a catapult out of popsicle sticks and some other stuff
Brooo, thaw and dry your wood BEFORE you work it, or you can crack it like a mofo
Edit: my apologies bro. Im impatient and quick to point things out, and see why you did that (you know, right after you pointed it out).

I want it.......
hello
HI!
am actually making a steam punk style wand
First
You are always first in my heart, grem.
Nerd alert... :)
Stupid video. Great wand 👍
I'm old.
Mean coment. Thanks for watching.
I guess?
