I've been getting into this paracord thing for about 6 or 8 weeks and I must say the best tutorials always come from WOE. Some other guys just tie and or weave real fast like they are showing off. Others move real slow but dont explain anything. You just have to watch and figure it out yourself while listening to cheesy music. These videos on this channel strike a balance making the learning quicker and easier. TWO thumbs UP!!
+Don Waters Thanks for the kind words Don! It's great to know there are viewers like yourself that appreciate what I do. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Very nice, just where I'm at with my skills, just starting to do all I can myself. Just took my first knife apart to send out the scales for ano job..Now, to put it back just right, HaHa. Thanks, your vids are great learning tools for this old dog. Have a Kwaiken I'd like to have done but the pimpers are very busy and it's difficult to even get a reply from some. I did get my 2nd Kwaiken in with Alex Dietz, now how long? I'm sure it will be worth the wait no matter how long. At least it's the VG-10 version, I'm gonna have CF lightning strike to lose some weight and really change the looks..I'm leaving the rest up to him although I did ask him to polish the hardware. Thanks, Ed
you by far make the best tutorials out there. I picked up some cord and was making things first try. im looking to make something beautiful for my wife any suggestions? I am not familiar with all of it yet but if I see you do it I have a good chance!!! lol
+dpmn421 Hmmm... You can always start out with a bracelet to see if she likes that. Perhaps something comfortable and slimmer to wear like the snake knot.
To whoever : When you're done weaving and start sinching, make sure that you push the knot cord up from the bottom and around the middle of itself. As if giving itself a hug. Hope this helps.
Philip Jinert Yeah you probably could. You'd just have to tie the knot over and over again and finish it with a stopper knot. Good idea! I may have to try it out myself. :)
it is a nice long knot, Love the tutorial, do you have any tutorial that teaches how to put a knot above the bead, so the bead stays there stuck and nice in between two knots??????
Loving you high quality tutorials. Glad I found you. Thank you. Hi, do you normally trim the two ends to the end of the knot and seal them, or are the two 2" or so loose ends required.
This is what I do; 2 1/2 feet of paracord. Tie six or seven snake knots. Put on a bead. Tie the Mathew Walker knot at the end. You can even gut the last inch of the paracord so it is flat and so the bead is easier to thread through. Trim excess to desired length. Done.

This is and easy great, thank you for teach us. :-)
+jorge corrales You're welcome! Thanks for watching!
Is it possible to do a 3 strand Matthew walker knot for the purpose of using the 3 loose strands to tie charms around that dangle?
looks a lot better than a regular knot
For sure! :)
To whoever : When you're done weaving and start sinching, make sure that you push the knot cord up from the bottom and around the middle of itself. As if giving itself a hug. Hope this helps.
and twist it like he says!
Is it possible to make this into an entire bracelet? Love the look of it!
Philip Jinert Yeah you probably could. You'd just have to tie the knot over and over again and finish it with a stopper knot. Good idea! I may have to try it out myself. :)
real awesome one +
it is a nice long knot, Love the tutorial, do you have any tutorial that teaches how to put a knot above the bead, so the bead stays there stuck and nice in between two knots??????
Edna Siu I don't have a specific video on that, but what you can do is tie a single snake knot above the bead to hold it in place.
I'm sure Matthew Walker was a nice fella, but holy crap this knot is a pain in the ass to make perfect.
You think so? It's always been a breeze for me.
This is cool
Louay Doda You are too! :)
Loving you high quality tutorials. Glad I found you. Thank you.
Hi, do you normally trim the two ends to the end of the knot and seal them, or are the two 2" or so loose ends required.
Thanks! If you don' want the two loose ends just trim them where the knot ends, then melt the ends a bit with a lighter to prevent fraying.
Damn good tutorial easy to make and quite nice to look at, but is it posible to make it thicker
Thomas O Thanks Thomas! I think the only way to make it thicker is to use thicker cord or rope.
Hello dude! Thx really helped me! Please tell me if you use ungutted paracord or with 7 strands! Thx from Brazil
Most times you can tell just by looking. If it is gutted the outer casing will lay very flat.
I like your voice
Just a suggestion, but being more specific than "a few inches of cord" would be helpful for us newbs. Beyond that, great tutorial.
how this red material is called?
I know that you like Imperial red but have you ever tried owl eye camo?
Dan Knight Haven't seen that color yet, I'll keep an eye out for that one... no pun intended. :P
I follow the steps exactly but always end up with a piece of cord running length ways over the rest?
+N3XUS Hmmm.. perhaps you need to tighten it differently.
+N3XUS SAME
I worked it out, I was tightening it too quickly! I watched the vid again and copied the hand movements exactly, and this time it worked spot on!
Where do you get beads
delux 65 I bought mine from usaknifemaker(dot)com, but you can get these from Schmuckatelli's official website. Just google their name.
thanks

dreadjavapirate Cool!
I like the knot but hard to adjust up or down
where I can buy this bead?
Konrad You can buy them from Schmuckatelli Bead Company. Just google their name and it should come up.
You should show the back side. Not sure about the extended one because you don't show the back
Been trying this for almost 2 hours now and I still cannot get it.
My patience has never been tested like this before. Lol
+LeviathanHS Did you end up getting it? I hope so ;)
Try a gaucho knot, :(
i can't tie this knot i do every step correctly and when i tighten it it looks bad, help??
About how long of a piece of cord did you use?
Jef Bennett I think it was about 2 feet
It almost looks like a single strand blood knot
Who’s Matthew Walker?
I have absolutely no doubt that you have a great understanding of this knot but I just couldn't figure it out??
Sam M Just watch the video a few more times, pause it if you have to.
Is Matthew Walker an actual person?
Having trouble getting it to look nice.
Brett Huhn Make sure you tighten it properly and carefully.
This is the worst knot. Ever. All this finnicking and it STILL doesn't come out right.
