Thanks for the tutorial! Ours came out great thanks to your explanation.
I find that when I get down to the end of a fishtail, instead of that over hand knot, I do a half-hitch on each side, Pull it tight and then Snip and singe. It's a much more secure ending. :)
What is a half-hitch? I’m teaching my students how to do this, but I didn’t like the other video for the ending. It was sticking out. Thank you! (This video is great). 👍🏾
Thanks for the clear video, I tried a few other videos and kept messing it up, but this was so clear and easy!
This tutorial is amazing!!! Definitely looking forward to more videos from this channel.
same
Very nice and clear video. I can't wait to attempt my new bracelet!
Very cool, I'm going to try this. Great instructions!
man this is one of the best paracord videos in terms of easy instructions and the fact you was very thorough with everything thanks for the video and it look forward to seeing more
Thank you for sharing. I like how you explain what the process is. Peace
Thanks for sharing, nice and easy, good teacher
Thanks! made mine without any troubles.
Nice video. Just finished my first ever attempt. Overall I'm pleased with it. Could have been a bit tighter but I'm sure I'll get better with each one I make. Thanks for the good instructions.
Wow, it turned out perfect! thanks for a great tutorial! :)
Thank you very much. I have watched other videos but yours explained it very clearly.
Awesome tutorial!! Excellent, and detailed instructions. I have always wanted a little more information regarding the clasp. While I have already completed several, fairly complicated braclets, the initial tying to the clasp, was a little confusing. You totally cleared up all my questions. I will be looking forward to more of your videos. Thanks.
Shelley Hite Thank you for the kind words Shelley! I'll be sure to keep the videos coming. Your comments and feedback are much appreciated! :)
this was easy, did not expects that, made mine just now, its now finished and looks good, im happy with it, though i used good quality lace from tracky bottoms, did the same job and melts ok, i avoided using the flat lace, a nice round lace does the trick, it doesnt twist as much, i used same coulor lace, i like that look
thanks bro, great videos
chris williams That's great Chris! Thanks for watching and I'm glad your bracelet turned out well! :)
The Weavers of Eternity Paracord Tutorials
christopher williams IT IS NOT EASYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!?!
by far the best tutorial for this bracelet on youtube
Best video on TH-cam for this style! Thank you!
thanks that was quite fun! I added a bead to mine in the middle for extra flare and it really turned out great!
+Erica Green Nice!
I like it a LOT!Nice tutorial.
Great tutorial...I love the background of a sushi mat. Seriously, it was the perfect background to highlight the weaving process.
+424Bobcat Thanks! Haha, I'm glad you like the mat too. Sometimes I wonder if I should change it. :)
Yeah man it was very easy to follow man thanks
Great instructions with great details! Thanks for keeping your thumb out of the way too. I have made these before but it has been a long time so I forgot the beginning and needed a refresher. I usually watch another "guy" but his thumb gets in the way. I looked up another source and your video appeared. Yours was very helpful. Good job!
Regina Villalobos Thanks for the kind words Regina! I try my best to make these tutorials easy to understand and follow. It's actually quite tough making the bracelet behind the camera and trying to keep my fingers out of the way. Thanks for watching and commenting! :)
Love the way u show us how to so, keep it up.
You rock man, I just finished this project flawlessly on my first try, subbed and liked ! Keep on with these videos please.
Awesome! Thanks for subbing and liking. I'll be sure to keep making videos too!
Great job with explanation. Bravo!
Thanks turned out great!
I made this as i watched the video. I used a blue w/a black buckle. Next up is a two color bracelet with a knot and loop closure. Thank you for the easy to follow videos.
+Eric DiFalco Nice! Sounds like a nice looking combo!
thanks this realy helped and i figured out how to do it with a shackle clasp
This was so easy and fun! This was my first time making this type of bracelet and even though it’s not perfect, it still came out really nice.
took me several starts but i got it done n it doesnt look bad. very understandable tutorial.. ill make a few more like this than i have another project that calls for a turks head...
thanks for a great vid...
Thanks Ron! Glad you were able to get it down. Practice definitely makes perfect, so after a few more I'm sure you'll be making beautiful bracelets!
The Weavers of Eternity Paracord Tutorials I've even started trying to sell the at my school, just annoyed that my orders haven't arrived yet 83
This was perfect, you are a great teacher!
Brandi Guy Thanks for the awesome comment, I really appreciate the kind words! :)
Thank u for this. I find this easy to follow n clearly explained at a good pace.
Andy Hill You're welcome! I'm glad you found my explanation useful and not long winded. lol :)
Thank you for your clear and patient video. Question - what kind of lighter are you using? I can’t find any small torch lighters that would be safe and appropriate for use on paracord.
Used this to make a dog collar. Came out really good. Easy to follow. Great video, thank you.
Brendon Nicholas Sweet! Glad it came out well, thanks for watching and commenting!
I recently made a two color bracelet as per these instructions. Very easy to follow. The only difference that I did was after I got my measurement for the proper size I used a piece of wire tie to hold the paracord in place at on end. Made this assembly so much easier. Thank you for the video. I will be making many more!
good idea. i have used tape, but i like tying it better. i think i will use an inner strand
Excellent tutorial. Thank you very much!
Brilliant tutorial
This worked very well. Thank you 😊
You're welcome!
Great tutorial for the fishtail Paracord Weave! Thank you! #DIY

Love your tutorial its amazing and awesome stepwise instructions
Nilaya Mairal Thanks!
Aww u actually replied!!!!
love your videos keep up all the good fun projects we love doing ur videos always make it easier for us all
Awesome video. Love the way you explain things. I'm new to Paracord crafts. So far I made couple Solomon knot bracelets and couple chain link bracelets. Still needs more work lol. A question I have is if you have a 6 inch wrist, how do you calculate how much paracord you need? That's one of the issues I have. Thanks again for a great tutorial!
Amazing video! you explained it really clear! good instructions! like this video very much (im sorry for my bad english, in dutch)
Zoë Koops Not a problem! I understand you perfectly. Thank you for commenting and watching my video! :)
You do a excellent job on your tutorials. . Slow and easily explained 😁
I have no doubts about what everyone is getting for Christmas. I really like the tutorials and how you present them keep up the great work

The best tutorial made it the first time awesome
nelda rangel That's great! Thanks for watching and commenting!
Thank You, I did it!!!
I seriously love you man ive tried many different bracelets and ended up tangled in the cord (im a fail) but i found yours and now i can make bracelets also your vids aren't confusing
Teen_wolfgurl2412 Awesome! Glad my tutorials could help you out! You're welcome and thanks for the kind words, I love you too!! lol
Much appreciated the tutorial and all the details in it. This was a very helpful video for beginners like me to follow.
Yang ScatterYou're very welcome! I'm glad my detailed tutorial could help you out! :)
WOW you are awesome thank you
How do you determine the length of your cord? Obviously you know how much you need for your wrist. Is there a formula? Thanks.
For Reference:
Measurements 0:57
Attaching to buckles 1:57
Weaving starts 6:55
Finishing 12:18
P.S. I understand that some of these are up there, I just wanted them all in one place
You are a very good teacher. Very organized. Once you measure it, could you mark the strands with chalk to keep them in the right place?
I've wondered the same thing. Seems like it would do the trick. Going to give it a try. My jig helps a bit, but not for some knots. Maybe I need more experience with the darn thing
Realy enjoy your channel. Thanks for the hard work! One question. Could this be done as a backpack handle wrap? If so... Do you have a tutorial for it? Thanks again.
Cool video
Very good video and easy to follow! :D
Thanks!
great tutorial!
peter Flores Thanks!
That was great , thank you , very good instructions . I have to get a buckle , and then I'm on it .......
kenny G You're welcome! Glad you found this tutorial helpful. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Great video :D I love how a lot of bracelets might turn out too "girly" and stuff , but with these you just have to chose the right colours then it looks cool on both boys and girls ^^
Thanks Emilie! And yes absolutely, color choice is key. Also I've found that you can use thinner paracord like 275 or 95 paracord to make thinner bracelets of you're looking for something more feminine.
+The Weavers of Eternity Paracord Tutorials One of my friends try to look really tough and cool all the time , so i made him an army coloured one and a black and dark blue one , it is really fun to do :D
At the moment i am almost out of paracord and there is nowhere where i live that sells more without the price being insane XD
Thanks for replying by the way ! ^^
can you do this with a shakle clasp
awesome,thank you :)
Leo Loyola You're welcome!
Really acualy helped thanks
Malakai Riddle You're welcome!
I really want to do the rastaclat with a buckle but i can't figure it out, trying to use this tutorial as reference, can you give me any advice on doing rastaclat with buckle? Thanks
Great video i was never able to do this knot
Awesome, glad this video was able to help you out!
It's cool
Hola soy de Colombia .no entiendo tu idioma , pero la hice gracias a Dios .y a ud porque explica con sus mano genial .
Nice helpful video, thanks.
OpenWorldOutlet - Paracord Dealer You're welcome!
Hi; Great video and would like you to show how to do the bracelet without a buckle. Thanks
Turned out to be easier than I thought! Great instruction and I had no problem following along. Love the way this weave looks!
Thank you for the instruction. Works like a breeze. Good workout for my hands, they get so stiff an arthritic. Can't wait to try different colors. Inquiry; how do I determine my length in terms of overall length. Length of bracelet + total paracord? Thanks again, your the Bob Ross of paracord!
😆
how would you compensate if you have an 8inch wrist? for cord length
What color was the single color one it looked awesome
You should consider changing the name of this weave to "infinity" as it forms an infinity sign as you weave. Over-Under-Over-Under. Great video, and very clearly taught.
+bashfulbrother Interesting idea. This one is widely known as the fishtail though and I'm not sure who created it. I find it best to keep the original name as to give credit to the creator.
Hey Dude Great Video & Really Cool Bracelet. 😃 Keep up the great work. N.
***** Thanks Nicolas! I'll be sure to keep the videos coming. :)
SUCCESS AFTER 3RD ATTEMPT DUE TO LENGTH ISSUE! BUT IT SUCCESS ACCORDINGLY TO YOUR TUTORIAL! THANK YOU!
*almost forgot to hit the like button*.
That's great Kal! Glad I could help you out, thanks for the like!
thanks for showing me how to make a fish tail bracelet
Really good tutorial. All of your tutorials are good but just something to think about if you bring that fused section down alittle from the buckle you can hide it with the weave. Just a thought?
Lou Hecht That might work too, good idea. I'll have to try it out!
Cuales son las medidas, gracias
thanks i have made five with that tutorial
I think you could use a large enough metal butterfly clip to hold the cord tight as you start your weaving, don't you think? Then less worrying about it moving or changing length as you get started.
cool thanks!!
John Allen You're welcome!
Very nice tutorial and video! Where do you order the 'clasp' from, please help? Thank you and thumbs up!
Gerald West You can find a lot of the buckles online. Check out Paracord Store for supplies. I've used them before and they are great: bit.ly/1yPX2fK
Hey, thank you very much and have a great New Year!
+Weavers of Eternity Paracord Tutorials
I know where to buy the buckles, but what size did you use for this particular armband?
You have inspired me to make the fishtail :)
Gerald West I get my clasps online lazada...or ebay uk
Clear precise knowledgable thanks again......
Where do you fuze the paracord together?
Great tutorial! I was wondering if you could make the same fishtail but as a watchband?
Joshua Pietak You probably could, but I haven't tried that one yet! :P
Thanks, worked great! I used a blue and black colored paracord and it looked REALLY cool!
Excellent instructions my friend!!!
I tried this weave once before watching another video and just couldn't get it. Now I'm wearing a very sharp looking fishtail bracelet after following along with your tutorial. Thanks for taking the time to help us newbies in the paracord world. Keep up the good work bro!!!
Awesome!
Hey weaver, sorry idk ur name, but i found a nice way of making these. I used your double cows hitch method and layer it above the core and pulled cords around and through the middle and it came out great.it works perfectly for soid colors i haven't tried multicolor but boredparacords color variation method also works very well
His name is Tim
What size buckle do you use?
Hey, great easy to follow tutorial! I was just wondering about how much paracord was used for the bracelet? I was thinking maybe 6 feet but I'm not sure...Thanks 👍
Have you ever thought of using a binder clip at the top to hold your starting length so nothing slips then weave? You could hang it from a hook and it would be less cumbersome to weave then and maintain tension. Cool look to the fishtail.
For sure! I use all sorts of binder clips and things to keep bracelets and projects together. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Did you weave that from the underside
Nice tutorial! I really appreciate it. I wonder if I can make more bracelets like this and sell them online? is there any patents or copyrights on the weaving technique that I should know?
+GoProTrip 4 There are no patents or copyrights on knots. You cannot patent a knot to my best knowledge.
Dude, your vids are like the apex of Paracording videos, amazing job! Made on of these for the girl (purple/white) and she loves it! +1 Sub and keep it up!!
Exidous96 Wow, thanks for the kind words! I really appreciate it!
This would make a cool baseball themed bracelet?
Love how informative this is. Everything you do is amazing quality.
Any tips for doing this with gutted cord for the outside part? Id like to make a thinner version.
Arthur Cantu It should be the same I think with gutted cord.
Can someone tell me how broad this wristband is gonna be? And howmuch paracord i need per cm?
Wow! that was an extremely well done tutorial! I had trouble my first time around with the first knot, but I undid it and tried again, and it worked out perfectly. Thanks!
