This was my first time tying a snake knot. I watched a few other videos before landing on this one. This technique is by far the fastest and easiest I've come across. Thanks!

Ditto! This way also interconnects each subsequent knot, whereas the other way is just a series of individual knots cinched against each other. Glad I finally tripped across this vid.

Thank you for the best snake knot tutorial I've seen. I watched the video twice, then followed along, pausing as needed. After about 4 tries, I am tying a nice looking snake knot. Just made my 1st pocket knife lanyard/fob and it looks great. I've never understood the knot before watching this video. So good, it made me sub.

This is so cool!!! I've been a fan of Jossi ever since discovering him on Instagram a few months ago. I've always wondered how he had the patience to make all those snake knot bracelets with micro cord. Especially since making them with 550 gives me fits sometimes😄 Thank you so much for this tutorial.

Thank you for supporting the disability services and thank you for this technique. I use it. I don't see very well some days so this technique is extremely useful. When practiced long enough and you have this one down to a near art, you can stitch with microcord as you weve the core or base knot. I'm working on mastering this however I ran into a shortage. That said. With this technique and learning how to stitch without a needle would increase productivity and leave time for creativity.

I just discovered this video when I was looking for a tutorial to relearn the “snake” knot after I hadn’t done it for a while. This method and resulting linked snaking knot is much superior to what is noted as “the” snake know. I have saved this video to my paracord play list for future reference when again I’ll need to “relearn” the knot. Thanks so much for your really good tutorial!!

No need for sawed off knitting needles tips to help you insert the new working end back into the last loop and all of the stress of pulling things tight again, something that would make my fingers hurt after a dozen turns. I'm thankful for this video.

Thank you so much for sharing. I'm going to get some cord of some sort and give this a try. I am trying to make a knotted Eastern prayer rope but some of the traditional knots used to make such an item are extremely complicated, to me at least! I have limited dexterity and low vision. I'm hoping that I will be able to make the thing I want using this cord, it looks a little bit easier. 😁

Awesome video man. I've got a lot of knifes and as of late I've been starting to put lanyards with beads on some. I thought the snake knot was a good way to go but couldn't find anything that I really liked until this video. out of all the videos on snake knots I've watched I ended up using technique that Taylor from best damn edc uses but just didn't really look the way I wanted knots to look. not only does this method seem a lot easier but looks like your knots are not only tighter but a bit bigger as well.definitely will be trying this technique out on another knife and hope it turns out the way I'd like. 👍
