- I've started selling satin bonnets handmade by myself using my Finesse Mini Sewing machine. I thought I should share the sewing and packaging process I take to make them reversible and adjustable.
Comment down below if you'd like a more detailed video on the pattern, cut, and full sewing process of making the satin bonnet.

Would love to see a more detailed video.
Sylvia Perez thank you for letting me know. I will keep that in mind.
Thanks for the tutorial. I would like to know where you get the cord from. And what size cord stopper do you use and where do you get it from?
Only a pleasure.
I get my cord and cord stopper from a fabric store. You can find cord stoppers on Amazon. I don’t know what size it is but I ensure to make a knot on the cord to prevent it from slipping out.
The fabric store I go to is Moosa’s fabrics store in the Oriental Plaza.
Thank you for this beautiful video
Love this. Thinking of starting to make these . Ur video makes it look so easy
Thank you. I just uploaded a more detailed video if you'd like to check it out. it's such a perfect side hustle.
Can the opening be closed with a machine instead of hand sewn
Nice ...thanks
Pls how many inches did u sew for fixing of cord...I want to know if its half or one inch
I normally sew an inch
Yes more details, thank you! Nice job though 😊

I added hair accessories as a thank you gift to my customer.
Can I use a fabric straps for this
I can’t imagine it being comfortable but it’s worth a try. That’s what I love about diying, totally customizable.
What brand is your sewing machine? Cutest little thing
😄 it was definitely a hassle using that machine. Unfortunately I didn’t keep the box so I can’t say what brand it is.
Hi. Great video. How long does it take you to make one?
Thank you so much. I’ll definitely time myself the next time I do it
Where did you get your elastic strings?
At a fabric store. I believe all fabric stores should have some type of elastic bands/strings
Hi, how many millimeters is your string & the hole for the cord stopper ?
I used 23 inches for the string. Don't know what it is in mm.
I don't know the mm for the hole either unfortunately.
Can you please give the measurements for cutting the circle?
I normally use 9” radius for size small but you can adjust the measurement to your liking. I have a video on the channel showing how I measure and cut.
Are you able to mention what size you used for bonnet?
Hi yeah sure. This is a small at a 9
inch radius. You can check out my recent video that shows how I measure and cut.
lovely
What needles did you use for the silk?
I don’t know differences in needles.
What type of thread needle to use with the bonnet ? And what type of machine is that?
I used the needle that came with the machine and the last step I used a normal sewing needle and thread. The machine is called Finesse. I bought from takealot in South Africa.
Which satin do you use?
A stretch satin.
Where do I get the satin material 😭
Lol that's actually become my dilemma since I moved. Any fabric store should have but the issue is colour.
how much fabric did you use?
I’m gonna do a more detailed video soon. Stay tuned for that
@@Azaniatresses really looking forward to it.
@@Azaniatresses have you made it yet?
Just uploaded it. Hopefully you'll find it detailed enough.
can you do a more detailed video
Yes will do
How do i order?
Hey I’m situated in South Africa so I only take national orders. You can DM me on Instagram @accessorized_byazania once we’re out of lockdown if you’re also situated in SA.
How do you get your measurements ?
i did mock ups before to try out the measurements but also did some research.
What size is it I hate when ppl do these videos with NO instructions horrible video
No need to be rude about. This wasn’t a tutorial. You can watch a detailed video on my channel. Stop being entitled.
Azania tresses that’s my opinion and I was not RUDE u are it seems like a few other ppl felt the same way.
It being your opinion doesn’t mean it’s not rude. Learn to communicate with people. The FACT is, this isn’t a tutorial video hence no instructions.
Lady bye ok it’s not a good video others from what I read feel the same way ok so when u post videos and u have a comment section the attitude ur displaying is wrong. Don’t pos,t if u don’t want HONEST opinion. Now with that being said do not contact me anymore with ur nonsense.
@@Kittenkollection nobody said the video wasn't good, they simply wanted more details. And she already said there's a more detailed video. Let it go. If you have nothing nice to say, go find a video that better suits your needs and leave the negative comments to yourself.
