Thanks for this. For this demo l used a drawstring (see video at 0.59). It's at 30" long, to allow the bonnet room to be adjustable. If you are making one for yourself, l'd start by measuring your head circumference and add a couple of inches to it. Hope you found the video helpful.
Hi Tendaishe, l was thinking of another video on my first reply. No it shouldn't, as long as you sew on each side of the opening. See at 8:36 minutes, on the video. If you are struggling to do this by your machine, it can be done by hand.
Love this tutorial. Simple and straightforward!!!
Beautiful 😍🤩 I love it!! and easy also 👍
Thanks for this!
Very simple and easy to understand just needed to know how long is the elastic cord but I think I can figure it out 😊

Do you still close the opening after putting the drawstring or the opening can stay open will it still be professional please
Thanks for this, the opening stays open. It will not come undo because you have to hem it first.
Keep going yas
Did you put the 1/2 inch elastic band in also?
Hi thank you for watching, no l only used the drawstring on this video demo. My goal for showing them both was to say, you can use one or the other.
What about the opening? Will it not frail?
