The 2022 DART Holiday Train - We finally found it!

- Today, we're at Cityplace/Uptown Station on the search for the DART Holiday Train before it leaves service at the year's end. When I saw pictures of this train, I just knew I had to record it! I tried to find it before Christmas, but my limited schedule made that pretty difficult. Nonetheless, I was able to find it today, and it's spectacular to see in person!
We catch the train at Cityplace/Uptown, with a beautiful view of it entering the station. A little bit of RFW Footage on our way to SMU/Mockingbird, followed by a walk around and through the train at Downtown Rowlett. Then, you'll get the ultimate rider experience as we return to Mockingbird, from multiple viewpoints as if you were a passenger.
Unfortunately, I'm unable to include all of the music played on the train, and I tried to cleverly edit it out as best as I could. I minimized complete silence as much as possible, but if you hear an extended section of silence, know that I needed to edit it to keep the system happy. I apologize in advance!

Nice shots! Ive been seeing it all week, and truly, you need to avert your eyes when it comes your way. Haha! Had no idea it played music though, ive not gotten to operate it, since I stay off the blue line. Glad you caught it on the last week! I think you missed it the first time you were out because it doesnt run on weekends, for the most part.

@@NTxRE Oh well I’m not fully trained as an operator driver but as soon as I get old, like in my 20s I’ll be able to operate it and toot either the horns, or the whistles at every level crossings!
Now that’s what I call, a holiday express train! Also happy new year btw and let’s hope these trains continue to stay rebuilt and restored without any retirement!
I hope so too! They're getting to that age but I hope they keep them up. So far so good!
