Thanks for the very clear video! Since 2023, it is also possible to use contactless payments on all dutch public transport. You don't have to signup or register for this: simply place your smartphone or contactless debit/creditcard in front of the reader to check-in. It works on all forms of public transport in The Netherlands, and you pay the regular (full) price per trip.
Hola chicos, gracias por los videos. Hemos cogido el hotel junto al aeropuerto, supongo que con la Ámsterdam Travel ticket (Azul) podemos coger el bus y el tren par ir al centro de Ámsterdam. Gracias.
Thanks for your feedback. Once you go amsterdam do visit Zaanse Schans , its a half day trip but worth watching. I will be posting a video on this soon. Please subscribe to channel 🙏 Thanks
Hi Hemu - many thanks for such an informative video. Can we go both keukenhof and zanshe schans in one day. If yes from amsterdam central what would be the best option to visit and for which pass i must purchase. We are 3 adults and 1 child 13 yrs. please guide.
Hey, Thank you for this video and explanation. I will be there for 3 nights in Amsterdam and planning to buy the Amsterdam & Region Travel Ticket but I am confused about the timing mentioned on the website. It says "A day in this context begins at 00:00 and ends the next day at 04:00" is it 28 hrs? (24 + 4). I am planning for a 3-day pass. so will it expire on the 4th day at 4:00 AM? Please advice.
I am planing to visit Amsterdam in the last week of April and I want to visit keukenhof garden ..so I need to get down at Leiden station (metro) ..and I am planning to buy Amsterdam region and travel ticket ..will I be able to travel to this station with this card
It is valid for 24 hours starting at your first check in. During this 24 hour period, you can transfer and check in and out as many times as you want. Thanks for your feedback .
I am going to Netherlands 16 of April. I wants to visit Netherlands Keukenhof garden, van Ghosh Musume, Geithon village, & mademe Tarsus. Which ticket i need to buy?
Hi we are 2 adults and one 5 yrs child, planning for Amsterdam in April we just want to visit tulip garden, windmill and Zan's, canal crusise, so kindly let us know which card would be better
The three-day passes I purchased from the airport did not work well at all. There are multiple transportation methods and they do not work on trains. I found they also failed on the metro and buses after working the first day. As such I started using my credit card. However, the tap on and tap off requirement is very annoying. I was charged an exorbitant fee on one card, for a failure to tap off. The infrastructure is good, but these cards do not work well in my experience.
I will be here at around 3 pm at airport for next 2 night and depart by train on third day at 2 pm .. I would like to explore surrounding local areas. Which pass do u suggest for us?
I would recommend to buy "GVB Children’s Day Ticket" which will be cost effective as it cost on 4 euros, but is valid for 1 day. The main difference with the Amsterdam Travel Ticket is that travelling from and to Schiphol Airport is not included, but i would suggest to but that separately one way ticket . It will still be lot less costly. Hope it helps. Have an awesome trip to Amsterdam with family . Please subscribe to the channel.
Hii we will be staying Amsterdam for 2 days .... we ll land at 13:15 .. Day 1 we are planning to visit Keukenhof Tulip Garden Direct from Airport after land Day 2 city tour Day 3 Mrng Zaanse Schans Can u suggest which pass to buy ........
Thanks for writing to us. Keukenhof Tulip Garden is closed for 2020. It will be open from Saturday March 20 until Sunday May 9 in 2021. Please Check the website keukenhof.nl/en/ are you planning for this year.
Ok sure then i will let u know about the best ticket price in a couple of days. Even though "Amsterdam and regional ticket" is an easy pick because 2 places tulip garden and Zaanse Schans will be covered under that plus u can use that within amsterdam. But i want to see if something can be done cheaper than this.
Hi.. we will be staying in Amsterdam for 3 days.. we will land in Amsterdam Airport.. day 1 Amsterdam city tour except museum.. day 2 Zaanse Schans & Volendam Day 3 Geithoorn Can you suggest which ticket to buy
For first day per person you should take (1 Day GVB Day pass + 1 airport train ticket(5euro)) and for other 2 days as your are doing regional travel you should take (2 days amsterdam regional travel pass)
