Pedestrians be extra careful crossing the streets where the bike lanes are! If I remember correctly the bike lane lines are jagged. You must look carefully for oncoming bicyclists! Especially faster moving bicycles. Many accidents happen. (Per the locals) Lovely city! If your visiting a canal boat trip is a must! Greetings from USA 🇺🇸

i wouldnt say these are the top 9 streets in amsterdam a person needs to visit but i would say its one of the most beautiful parts. im going to sub because my gf is from amsterdam and i feel i need to learn more then the weed spots lol
OK, we can agree -- one of the most beautiful parts. I never said they were the top. I carefully said "this has to rank among the best." I know superlatives are silly, Top Ten this and that, utter nonsense. But no doubt, these are wonderful streets.
@@denniscallan i wasn't having a dig i wish my girlfriend still lived there so i could join her in the laid back dutch lifestyle, i have many stories about being in the city but i think we will try to spend a day or two in haarlem too as this isn't far and looks great for food and drink. i mean that as its a bit more intimate to have a meal and drink there lol im a romantic i suppose

This was photographed with my SONY FS5, a professional 4K camera, mostly on a tripod. A superb camera in every way. Plus I had good weather, mostly sunny. However, lately I've been using the iPhone 13 in 4K mode, almost as good, and much easier to carry around.
You didn’t mention how many of the most important type of shop: Coffeeshops! (Cannabis Cafes). Because let’s be honest, it’s the reason most people go there for!

That is a high compliment, considering Steves is the travel champ, and does many wonderful things, but I do go more in-depth to a place, showing you all around, focusing on the subject rather than my face, not sitting around inside eating and talking with locals as he spends much of his time.

Good advice, always. Fortunately on these 9 streets, while there are bicycles, there are no bike lanes, so they all go slow and pay attention.
@@denniscallan Yes only where there is a lot of congestion is where you have to be careful. But all in all Amsterdam is a fantastic city!
