- Toruń is one of the oldest cities in Poland and in 1997, the medieval part of the city was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In 2007, the Old Town of Toruń was added to the list of Seven Wonders of Poland.
Toruń is renowned for its Museum of Gingerbread - the gingerbread-baking tradition dates back nearly a millennium.

You should really consider Poznan. It has great restaurants, architecture and it's pretty close to Wroclaw
Well you are right 2-3 days is enough to see most of Toruń. That's why it's busy during weekends because it is popular in Poland to go there for a citybreak. And do not be surprised by these crowds. It may not be the biggest town but it has a lot of students due to having it's own University (Copernicus is of course it's patron) famous for their astronomy dept.
It is such a great city! As a foreigner it feels like a true hidden gem!

Why did you eat in Japanese restaurant? If you are going to Pomerania in Poland you should eat Polish or local food not Asians.
We ate at many polish restaurants. Sometimes you want to eat something different. 🤷♂️
