Awesome!! Believe it or not, I have a 64 Galaxie XL500 Convertible with a 460 out of a ‘73 Lincoln. Very similar to your rig except it is Guardsman Blue. Sounds the same too. I have enjoyed watching your build…learned some stuff and got some ideas too. You should be proud of your work. Nice!!!!!!!
Got a question for you brotha. Just got a 64 500xl and tag on dif doesn’t say much beside ratio. Guy before me out in a t10 behind the 390 and it feels like the gears are tall as hell. Slow as fuck. Any suggestions on where you might start and do first before pulling it all out?
Thanks man! Yeah mine still has stock diff with 3.0 gears which I need to change out with an lsd and maybe 3.5gears. Also think I need a 3500 stall with this tunnelram! Don’t know too much about the t10’s but yeah army there quite high geared? Probably need to get onto a few t10 forums and see what other people have done👍🏽 thanks for watching man🤙🏽. I need to do a few more vids. I’m trying to tune the carbs atm so hopefully get something up for that

I get the impression now after seeing your ride that it may have more to do with the gearing in my t10. But def some 3.5 or 3.7zzz would add a lot for both our rides.
