please be advised if you do your own oil changes this car requires OW-8 which is not yet available anywhere except your Toyota dealer at a whooping $17 a quart yep you heard it right $17 a quart I have a 2023 Corolla XSE and I'm having a problem finding the OW-8 except at the Toyota dealership, Walmart Amazon and all the local auto parts stores DON'T have it
For an update on the OW-8 for my 2023 XSE on further research I just found out my car was build in JAPAN which may be the reason it needs OW-8 I tried confirming it with my local DEALER and they won’t confirm it only thing they say is that’s what it’s recommended by Toyota let me be clear it’s not the oil that I’m concerned 🤬about it’s the price of $17 per quart 🤬that piss’s me off bc instead of costing me $35 an oil change it’s now going to cost me $100 so if you take it to the dealer or mechanic ohhhhh weeeeee 😬😲
I had a 2016 Corolla and ended hp hating it. It was slow as molasses. At 78K miles, the transmission crapped out. Premature motor mount failure and a speaker in the drivers door shorted out. It was a total piece of junk. Never Toyota
@@noahh1997 I too was thinking lemon. 2016 Corolla has a perfect reliability rating by Consumer Reports and ranked Most Dependable Compact Car by JD Power.
@@noahh1997 - Then the 3 other people I know who has/had the same generation Corolla also got "lemons" too 😂 Toyota hasn't built a decent vehicle since the '90s. My other two Toyotas before the Corolla attest to that.
@@DeadofWinter321 all of our Toyotas are 2003, 2012, 2016, and a 2023 and they all have been reliable and have high milage so 🤷🏾 our Prius has over 300k miles

Here in Dallas Texas, new 2023 Corollas have a $5000 markup and dealers refuse to negotiate price.
