I have the 3.0 and its the size of a regular washer. I love it! My bill only went up $15 with the dryer. I did recently buy a clothes rack and recommend you buy one.
Unscrew the sink aerator faucet attachment part don't lose the rubber piece inside the aerator faucet attachment and the aerator to a hardware store to get an attachment that fits your washer hose...
I've also seen youtuber's take that sink aerator faucet to a hardware store so they can tell you what size attachment to get for your washing machine water hose and they also use a stocking and attach it to the draining hose(make sure you leave a gap in stocking to catch the lint) to keep lint from going down sink...

Did the machine tell you when to add more water for the rinse when filling water manually?
Yes, it will make a buzzing sound,it has a hose attachment to the sink, if you can attach it to your sink you don’t need to do anything it will automatically put water when needed as long as your faucet is open.
