Had my corningware percolater pot for the last 50 years. Aside from replacing the cord, it has worked fabulously. The coffee tastes like coffee. Not bitter brown water.
Goodwill in Pennsylvania think they are a extension of eBay or Google now....not even worth stopping or donating because they inflated their prices 10× or more.
I will not donate to Goodwill. I live in Clearfield co pa. I DONATE TO salvation army and local organizations. NO MORE GOODWILL
Same with Louisville Ky they said they sell at 50% of eBay prices. But they are looking at the listed not sold. And when something says Dollar Tree if it’s new you can bet it’ll be $2.99. I quite shopping at Goodwill and actually talked to a regional rep who said people “don’t donate expecting GW to practically give stuff away” They use to have standard pricing on certain items ie stuffed animals .99 now they mark them individually and have no idea what they are doing.
Same here in Michigan. I don't waste time going there anymore.
Yeah it is pricey. But still worth. I have made some good finds at goodwills in the allentown area. Last week found a camera for $6 bucks that sold for $170
@krunklord WE don't resale we buy for others who are in need but we do better with yard sales now and churches. I will not donate to Goodwill my grandaughter worked at one and we were shocked at what they do.
Had a first tag/estate sale of the season today! To be honest wasn't expecting much, figured would be flooded with people/resellers, surprisingly wasn't..at first, 1-2 others but were looking on the other side of the garage, I started with the Christmas boxes, found a vtg Shiny Brite Cluster Christmas Tree($150+)_, rare Santa tree topper, new in box sneakers/shoes, trail cam +lots more..all only $29(keeping a few items though lol)..so was a great sale to hopefully a successful 2024 season! Loving your videos...still learning about different categories! 🥰

Thanks for the video! Great info on the percolator. I have sold this same item on Mercari and clearly stated that it’s a decor piece. I sold it for around $40 still. Like you said, definitely not an EBay item for sure. Keep up the great work and teaching!
My mother used to have that singer sewing machine, and I learned how to sew on it and I loved it. I wish I would find one because I would buy it. It is the best sewing machine. You should’ve bought it.

I actually sold a bar of that beer soap! Didn’t get as much as you did (got it from the GW bins) and it was hella long tailed. Also sold one of those Dodow sleep things, but mine was new sealed. Good to see you’re back and well.

CorningWare Pots make excellent coffee, they also have a model where it plugs in - no stove top..

I had that same thing happen to me a month ago on the percolator. I took it down, and sold the lid for about 12 bucks 🤷♂️which covered the cost, then sold the metal parts for 12 as well. They only ban the pitcher
I had the same exact issue. I saw comps of it selling so I bought it thinking I was ok. Nope. I got hit. I ended up selling it at a garage sale

I've sold a couple london fog products. Nothing wildly old though.
The goodwills near me are up to $3.99/ any old club now. Plus they pull any bigger brand clubs now and price them off ebay. It is completely frustrating.
Yeah, our area they range from 2.99 to 7.99 typically. I obviously don't mind when a 100 dollar driver is 8 bucks.

Good deal on the Stampin Up Stamps. They will always sell but if you find any with dies, $$$$$!!! Good craft items will always sell.
Oh for sure, we have to be careful when looking at comps too due to that. Since, sometimes it will be the photo polymer and dies when we only have the polymer part.

I wouldn’t have paid that price for an incomplete Corning Ware coffee pot. You’d have to source the internal parts separately.
Today I got 4 really good canon cameras for 25 bucks along with a bunch of other good stuff. It should have been 60 and the lady was like how about 23. I said take 25 and walked out of the rummage sale like WOW WTH?

The handle may separate from the unit when hot.
Yup, Harley stuff has to be unique or outerwear, jackets vests etc… even boots are selling not so great

We just use a small blow dryer we got from an Amazon bin shop and it works fine for us usually.

My husband sold some counterfeit stamps that are highly collectible, he wasn’t passing them off as real or anything, but for obvious reasons we got a notice AFTER they had sold. SMH
I have a question for you dude. How do you deal with all of the vitriol and hate online against resellers? I'm a budding reseller, I watch your videos for insight and to learn what to look out for, but the second I mention that I resell legitimately online, I catch so much hate, and I'm worried it will cause people to find me and leave false reviews to hurt my side gig/blossoming business. Any advice?
Anything that you do will bring about people who are going to have a problem with it. At the end of the day you got to focus on what you want in life and go get it. If you're not doing a social media presence as part of your reselling business, it is pretty easy to stay under the radar when it comes to buying stuff to flip for a profit. Hi I’m dumb! What does checking comps mean?
Not a dumb question at all. You search on ebay and filter by sold listings for an item. This allows you to see what a item you're looking at has sold for.
Do you sell things like heated blanket controllers listed as untested?
We will list it untested, yes.
What was your injury you mentioned?
It was a calf strain. It wasn't any fun, but thankfully I'm back in business now.
Had you mis-spelled Corning (Korning) the system likely wouldn't have ever found the item. Or if you had just marked it as being a pitcher, but had a good clear photo of the logo, there are enough people scrolling at all time that someone would have bought it. People are always scrolling through, they don't necessarily have to have the correct name to find the item.
I’ve had to misspell some listings because they are telling many of us sellers “you’re not authorized to sell name brands” WTH I have 💯 feedback!
I'd be a bit nervous doing that. I'd rather just keep my account good to go and not sell it personally.
that is the first moosejaw i ever saw. walmart brought them in 2017 when i worked for them. i heard that dick's sporting goods was buying moosejaw from walmart last year, not sure if that happened, don't work for them anymore so i don't always hear about their acquisitions or what companies they dump anymore.

Felt like I got one of your Awesome console n game scores Friday..got a game cube, PS2, and a Sega dream cast ( i havent saw in 20 years) with a bunch of ps2 games..goodones like black label Scarface, cpl mortal Combats,Cpl Need For Speeds a day or 2 after you told us how good need for speed versions can be..and a pair of N64 games for..$75!! Already in the profit selling 4or5 of the games..It's gotta be FATE right? I comment on your video about video games and then grab a great score..so get used to video game comments! I honestly don't know why you waste so much time pulling/posting comps. It adds nothing to your videos. And comps are not real in non autonomous consumption industries. They tell only a small part of what something might be worth.
Viewers have expressed finding value in them. For the most part I find ebay comps to be pretty accurate for your more common items.
