Was the 1/2 pff estate sale supposed to be in the video? I swear we seen that sale b4 ...but then it cut to another goodwill I'm assuming was just an editing mistake...or am I losing it and how much were those keen at the 1st goodwill u didn't let us know unless I missed that too lol

My girls are 30 and 25. They had Vera Bradley backpacks and lunch bags all through middle and high school. Heck I even have the Little Mermaid/Vera Bradley collab crossbody. I get compliments all the time. Girl you work hard and you don’t have to answer to anyone. Be happy 😃

The entire point of what you do is so that you can make enough money to afford nice things for your children and for yourselves. Enjoy the rewards of your labor. It inspires new resellers because they see the benefits in doing this.
Many many years ago, Polo Ralph Lauren was a client where I worked. Little did I know how valuable all of his merchandise would become on eBay! I still have a basket that Ralph and his wife sent the company, full of goodies, one Christmas. I saved it because the tag "Merry Christmas from Ralph and Rickie" totally impressed my nephews!

Kayla, I bought my boys Swiss Gear backpacks that were over $120 each. Do not let anyone come for you about spending money on your daughter. She deserves to have nice things just like everyone else. Yes, I bought my kids North Face backpacks $150 each, lasted them all four years of high school. My daughter is 22 now, and still uses hers.
I’m always happy to see you buy the hand painted wooden things. In the eighties, country decorating popped up. I think it was a grass root thing and then companies caught on and produced them for sale too. I read that “country” was the Baby Boomers desire to go back to the simpler times. It was for me. There were all kinds of handmade things from older times. Screen doors were popular because they reminded some of us of a Grandmother’s back doors. I cut out and painted all kinds of things, participated in craft fairs and taught classes. I always wondered what would happen to them, If they would end up in landfills. So glad to see some survived and are appreciated again.❤

One of my grandkids is still using the LL Bean backpack I bought his mom when she was in high school (late 90s). He carries his soccer stuff in it. His siblings and he have their own monogrammed LLBean ones for school.

The water tank near the end of the Bluegrass Parkway mural has always been a favorite of mine. Y'all really should show a few of the horse farms too. That part of Kentucky is some of the most beautiful scenery in the whole country. 💞💓💞

I bought my daughter a Vera Bradley backpack in high-school and she used it for 3 years! It was well worth the money. I didn't waste money on a cheap bag every year. Sounds like a smart purchase to me Kayla❤

I also use the off-brand of ziploc bags I get from Amazon. The ones I use the most are the quart size, gallon size, and 2 gallon size. Cheap and waterproof. I always ship in the plastic bags, especially if the item might be damaged enroute from water (rain and snow). Many people have thanked me for going the extra mile and putting the item in plastic first, then the shipping envelope or bag. Going the extra mile isn't that tough and is usually always appreciated.

I used to resell for a living. I was poor as sh**. I sold all high-end in the early 90s. I would buy my daughter's stuff cheap and sell it after she outgrew it in a month.

Nobody should be judging you about how much you spend on anything for yourself or your daughter, it's nobody's business. Vera Bradley backpacks and duffles are very well made and will last a long time. Plus, they can be washed! . I'd rather spend $80 on that than $50 on something that has to be replaced every year either because it fell apart or my kid didn't like the graphic anymore. It would be great for her to have matching items too. People who would make a comment about that are usually incredibly envious and looking to make themselves feel better by putting others down. You work really hard and good for you if you can buy something nice for your child, she deserves it!

Regarding the cost of new backpacks…. This past fall I told my daughter in law that I would buy the four grandkids their school backpacks. Boy was I clueless ! Seeing that I hadn’t bought one in years, sticker shock!! But hey, grandma’s got it covered 😊
