Hi Isabella, well I really can’t say which one is better without showing any biases. But I can let you know that both of these schools have so many pre med opportunities for their undergrads. I really liked ucsb, but I know people at Davis that loved it there. So I say just grab a piece of paper and write the pros and cons of both schools, this can really help you decide.
I need some help. I got in for biopsychology but I’m not sure if that’ll be science-y enough for pre med. I got into neurobiology at UC Davis which seems like the better major, but I want to go to Santa Barbara more. Another note is that I have no idea which medical career I want to pursue (Med school, vet school, physical therapy, dentistry, etc) so I have no idea which specific pre requisites I would have to complete. I want to keep my career options as open as possible. What do you think Is the better option?
Hey!! Well first of all congrats!! Those are great schools!! So both schools are very similar in terms of resources, volunteering and internship opportunities. The only main difference is that UC Davis has a medical school. So in terms of which school is more advantageous, the answer is non. Every school is similar, it depends what you do in your undergraduate years. The pre reqs for health carriers is also similar in both schools, so I honestly recommend making a list of pros and cons of each school and see which one fits you the best. Don’t worry at all, you got this!! and I hope to see you at UCSB 😊
I’m stuck between Davis and Sb which one would you choose for pre med
